For signal wires, it is very strange to have wire that thin in place, but, I am quite sure there was either a good engineering design reason or a product management decision involved, reliability vs money from selling replacement units every 100000 km.

I had my condeser replaced as it was not holding pressure, after i replaced condeser with new one, i went for recharge, they made a leak test and every thing was ok, cold air no problems, after two days my aircon was not blowing cold air any more and i went back to recharge guys, they put i uv torch on the compressor and it was green on top and bellow the compressor and they said i need a new compressor, what is weird and i have asked the recharge guy that why when he did a pressure test on the high pressure port was holding air but after recharge it was leaking, he said that they cant make pressure test while compressor is working so i don't know about this, i have seen that these ford focus mk1 you need to charge the on the low pressure port, but these local mechanics they all doing from the high pressure port, is that normal?
