Quick question... I'm in the midst of doing the Berryman piston soak. I need to replace my valve cover gasket since my 2 and 3 cylinders spark plugs are soaked with oil. I'm wondering if I should replace the gasket now or wait till I'm done with the process?

If you can what is the name of the parts and how can you run it through the wire that is connected to the part. Do you have a video on it. I have a buick encore 2015, and I need that part for my car. Please help.

Hello Chad, I think, I have a similiar problem. Before the problem, I did not see "Phone" mode on the radio screen and always changing radio mode "Phone>Radio>Phone>Radio". I have planned a maintenance for the battery (battery head or cable) I hope, the electrical technician will be fix the problem.

Yeah, this fix is super easy when the motor is out of the vehicle. Mine just happens to be inside of a Captiva, which is some sort of Japanese f*ck-knot torture box for work space. All I have is a driveway, some tools, a manual, and the internet…. But, Im going to attempt it! Thank you for the information, none the less, because this will be my go-to for on the fly re-call. Thank you!

    1. This oil was not changed all that often. 2. This engine has definitely timing chains. 3. I would replace the sprockets, Front Cover and the Front cover gasket. The oil pump is contained in the front cover and it definitely takes a beating on cars without goid oil changes.

Love this video, it is very well done. Wanted to ask though, those Phillips bulbs are H7 which is correct but they are Hologen, not Xenon Fusion (HID) like the originals. Did they still work without any issues and how long did they last you? Thx

Glad it worked out for you but you forgot one step the one way valve that feeds to the valve cover should be checked it's location is behind the motor between motor and fire wall .sometimes it fails and parts from it pass through or get stuck in the pcv diaphragm causing damage and pressure fluctuations in the motor

I purchased my vehicle about 2 months ago and it had clear liquid in the reservoir. Went I went to get the coolant from the auto parts store, they gave me the one you mentioned. The liquid that was in the reservoir was almost gone so I went ahead and added the new one I bought. Will I have any issues for having mixed the coolants? Please advise 😅

Don’t bother trying that if the engine is seized, you’ll never be able to disconnect the torque converter.

I was wondering the same thing. So there isn't enough clearance on the passenger side to slide it off with the torque converter still attached?
