Kratom does the same thing but probably 10 times better. Plus no Dr knows your on it. Many people are on Klonopin and Suboxone. That’s why Kratom is the better choice. No one knows you are on it. So if I want Suboxone but I’m on Klonopin you tell me to take a hike??? I would never put myself on that position. You can’t guess if someone is on Suboxone but a Dr certainly can review your pharmacy records. Suboxone is garbage.

i don’t get why these mothers are sad they got out of rehab and didn’t immediately get your baby. CPS will protect your child from you. you have to prove you are sober for long periods of time before you get your child back. it’s common sense, without it people who just go to rehab, get sober, get their kids, and use again. the point is to prove to CPS that you are sober indefinitely. otherwise you shouldn’t have access to your child.

When you're black in the 80s, drugs are put in your neighborhood, and nobody cares, but when it hits the white neighborhood its a urgent situation not fair.

One thing to know about alcoholics and codependents - they project, deflect, and reject the fact that the drug of choice of authority figures from every sector of society - alcohol - and the war to maintain it as a monopoly over the recreational drug market, is the cause of just about every social crisis America faces. Of the 100s of millions of alcohol related violent, PTSD- causing crimes over the past 60 years, 10s of millions were sexually perverse crimes against children. As millions were passing through the trauma gateway to alternative recreational consumption, but mostly cannabis (75% of all alternative consumption), a alcoholic and codependent leadership waged war on the only known competitor to alcohol, as well as those consuming it. You gave that legitimate stress medicine over to Mexican cartels to manage which became the foundation of their empires that now threaten national security daily. You created a surveillance state. You militarized the police. Yiu created a mental health crisis. You created a drug crisis. You created a distrust of government and all leadership. You divided neighbor against neighbor. You destroyed multitudes of families. You went TRILLIONS in debt doing these things. All to ensure alcohol - the drug destroying the nation one traumatized child at a time - had a monopoly over the recreational drug market. Alcoholic and codependent authorities from every sector of society made the biggest blunder in American history and the people are paying for it - 10s of millions strung out on prescription psych meds while the medical community is clueless as to it's cause.

i love how people cant even have an honest opinion about it. "treatment" "recovery" wouldnt need to be used as false hope if it was legalized and these people were able to just simply legally enjoy their substance. its infuriating people think they know whats best for you and they are completely inexperienced and uneducated about it.

This is such a great look at this epidemic and recovery system. I was addicted for over 23 years. I was on suboxone for 15 years until the day I didn't have it and ended up overdosing on fentanyl waking up to the paramedics over me. I finally found recovery two years ago and am now a peer recovery specialist to help show others how it IS possible to recover from this. So... I can honestly say this documentary is SO on point In every way. Also, recovery is possible for everyone! No matter how bad you think things have gotten. If I knew how SO much better my life would have gotten as it is now...I would have taken recovery MUCH MUCH more seriously when I first sought treatment over 15 years ago. My only regret is letting all those years of my life go to waste. Which IS what motivates me to help others now. It really doesn't have to take that long. EVERYONE deserves recovery, everyone deserves life❤ thank you to the makers of this documentary ❤

Check out the show 'Painkiller', starring Matthew Broderick. It's all about the Sackler family's company Purdue, who really made the opiod crisis happen back in the late 1990's with OxyContin. It's a really good show that puts a lot of the issues in perspective.

What about all the opioid panic and hysteria affecting those of us who deal with chronic pain and how this is creating a bunch of red tape in order for us to access our life saving medication? There is the section of people who can’t access opioids or have been cut off who no longer have a quality of life due to the dea scaring doctors and limiting quantities…it’s terrible ..this whole panic and hysteria and there are those of us who don’t sell our pills, follow the rules, do the counts etc and we’re treated terribly..it’s going from one extreme to the other

In your profoundly sick society where everyone lusts after instant gratification and where the majority have no chance of escaping poverty. Where your middle classes are falling like leaves from trees in autumn, back down to the bottom of the food chain. Where people choose to die on drugs because they are so unhappy with your American -Dream- Nightmare that they see no escape from. If there was no market for drugs you wouldn't have this problem, but they do, in their millions and as it is America where your new motto is "In Gold we trust", what did you expect to happen? Which country on this planet are you going to give me as an example of proof that your cunning plan can actually bear fruit?

My lord,First doc I could actually listen to for more than a single app.I’m so tired of hearing about this so called Opioid epidemic. I knew the medical community would never stand for letting a patient out the door with a $3 pill easing your pain. If so they lose the surgeries, physical therapy’s ,Occ.therapy and all the other things that are real expensive. But when you find the right woman it is a beautiful thing.

Drug addicts are not just a damger to themselves. They are a danger to others. I don't like hearing parents making excuses for the harm their adult children have caused to others. These parents are part of the problem. So now we have another "crisis" to deal with and hhe quality of life for non drug addicts will decrease to support these people who became addicted because THEY WANT TO PARTY. We see tragedy every single day and these people become addicted by seeking out pkeasure in a world of tragedy. Not only that, but many of these drugs are sex enhancing drugs. My ex was addicted to heroin AND PORN. His pursuit of pleasure destroyed our family. Hes been to "rehab" countless times, and if he OD'd I wouldn't shed a tear. Id be furious if his mother defended him (she didn't, but his sister did).
