I loaded 2mm dynamite baits F1 sweet pellets on the feeder with various hookbaits - each one I’m playing I mention the hookbait from various fjuka baits to stickybaits 6mm bloodworm pellets. I use 3mm Swim Stim pellets and normally soak for 3 mins and drain off the night before put into a bait box in the fridge and they are pretty perfect for use in the morning , you might need a touch more water, but better to add than have to wet 👍

  • @FISHINGMINTY

I think by draining off water you’re losing colour / additives that dynamite have added. Just leaving them to soak up the water means nothing is lost from the pellets. 👍

I 99% do my pellets the night before fishing. I have a few air tight containers that I fill and put in the fridge overnight. It is tricky getting them out, but I use a disgorger to loosen them. I have a spray bottle in case the dry too much. Swimstim 2mm are my go to. Split mix of F1 sweet and green I also add tackle-shop 2mm to bulk them out. Think I’m addicted to F1 sweet. The smell is lovely😂😂😂 Great video.

Yes I moved onto the sweet f1 after I’d finished my green betaine and the caramel scent of sweet f1 is much nicer than the broccoli smell of green betaine 😁 I’ve moved onto plain skrettings now just because they’re cheaper and seem to do just as well on venues I’ve fished with them on.

Yes it was! The camera didn’t pick them up at other times but there are about 7-8 that cruise around the surface in a shoal - a lot of the time they were just the other side of the blue fence. I didn’t manage to tempt any into where I was fishing or at least go my hookbait. I’ve tried targeting them with baits just under the surface (surface fishing is banned here) in the past but so far just cruise past.

I’d recommend Hednesford Angling Club pools on Rugeley Road if you’re looking for stillwater barbel and tench. Top pool, corner peg nearest gate there is best for the barbel using luncheon meat.
