  tractor protection protection valve is under the hood and is for the tractor so if trailer looses air your tractor will not loose air and you can still use brakes on tractor to stop . so title isnt correct . the valve thats tractor protecttion valve in on the firewall under the hood

  Yeah that can be a pain. Had my share electric issue. But good tip is use heat shrink wrap not electric tape better keep out moisture.
