They should make the nearest parking lot 20 miles away and destroy all the roads to it just leaving walking trails.

I’m from Washington and it ain’t 60 miles from Seattle. I’d say more like 120-150 miles and with traffic and two lane roads, it’s easily 3-4 hours from Seattle.

If you are up to it I would thoroughly recommend the hike up from the Yosemite Valley to Tuolumne Meadows. It takes a few days, but you will remember them for the rest of your life. I've done it twice.

In 1995, I visited the park and cooked a steak on my grill. This was at the North rim. I finished eating and soon after, two falcons flew near me. For 20 minutes, they whistled past me like two miniature jets doing acrobatic precision manouvers. I'll never forget that.

More likely you being a prick about breaking the rules so she felt it was easier to just kick you out than argue with some adult using some random kids actions to try and justify their own rule breaking.

Why aren't Red Woods planted around the world? It is interesting that plants grow by photosynthesing light into oxygen. In a sense, plants also breathe in carbon monoxide as they give off oxygen. Sonoluminescence is the emission of light from imploding bubbles in a liquid when excited by sound. Sonoluminescence was first discovered in 1934 at the University of Cologne. It occurs when a sound wave of sufficient intensity induces a gaseous cavity within a liquid to collapse quickly, emitting a burst of light. Punching Water So Hard LIGHT Comes Out - Sonoluminescence. Why aren't Red Woods planted around the world?

It's called a canyon but I believe it is truly a gorge. I think it's classified a gorge if it is deeper than it is wide.
