  love all these old fair lorries spessally the old guy ones & ERFS Ive never seenthis plus all the others you tube before but am glad I did because its opened my eyes to all the old ones before the resent ones but theres still newish ones in the tube well nearly new?

  Looking at this I'm taken back to the 60's when Roots had a fairground based in the village where I lived. The sound of the generators and the latest pop songs from the speedway, the smell of hot dogs, candy floss and toffee apples with the hundreds of coloured light bulbs showing the way. In the bottom of the field there were some old abandoned pre war lorries that always caught my eye. Thanks for the video it's turned me back into a little lad.

  My dad designed the original Wilts Fire Brigade truck at 1.53. He died a few years before I moved onto my bus. Blessings all!

  I owned both a commerq4 and an austin k9.dont know how i ever afforded to put fuel in them.both straight six petrols.although there was alot of revenue from acid weed and es in them days.time for another big new age revolution.

  Done a bit of that many years ago out in Canada on my aunt's farm. I remember looking round and instead of seagulls hopping around there were a little gang of hawks. They even sat on the back when I stopped.

  My favourite is the "Whyatts" Leyland at 0:20. In Australia the carnival people mostly use secondhand ex fleet trucks, some have a huge generator set to power the show rides. I remember when I was a boy one of their Kenworth prime movers hauling the "Octopus" ride became bogged, not to worry, an Asian elephant was put in harness and gently extracted the truck from the bog! I enjoyed your video, thank you.
