That damn french horn on the hill gets me everytime. As a 36 year old this scene still hits like the first time.
It made me cry instantly cause I lost my baby boy of 16 years a few years ago
Everyone says their dog is the best dog, and everyone is right, but Shadow is the bestest best boy. Good boy, Shadow.

This and Bolt are my favorite dog movie
This got me when I was 7, and it still gets me at 35
I remember watching this in 4th grade I couldn't hold my tears back, and when my teacher turned on the lights, everyone saw me crying luckily they didn't laugh they just came over to give me a hug saying its ok. Im in 11th grade now, and i still haven't watched this movie again because i dont want to cry again, lol😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cried reading the title😂😂
42 years old and it still makes me snivel like a child…
All the animals in this movie have been dead for at least 25 years. Have a lovely day 😊
Lmao. Wow years I was like 7
Damn that fucked me up... Instant tears when I heard that first bark.
I cry every time. It never fails
The first time I saw this movie I cried when I saw shadow limping over the hill.
Why is someone always cutting onions when this scene happens
One of the best family movies ever made.
Watch the original (or better -- read the book). A real weeper.
Nah this one's better. The original is boring
Jack Lemmon was the original choice to voice Shadow as well as Walter Matthau and they both turned it down.
Who the hell is cutting onions around here?
❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
I'm 49 and seen that seane over hundreds of times. I I tear up ever the seen when the little girl was lost
This movie was so beautiful.
Now look where you are. We saw this coming, but you all wouldn't turn off MSNBC or CNN.
Nope This is one scene that always breaks me. Seeing Shadow limp over the hill and then slowly getting up into a run as he sees his boy... They are tears... But they are the good kind...
😭😭
There wasn't iphone, TikTok, KZread, or any bulshit. Just pure television
2024, and I'm still here for this. You scoundrel you!
I can't help but cry, it moves me so much.
How does Disney do it? How do they hit you in the feels every single time? It’s like they know exactly what button to push.
As a kid this scene made me happy. As an adult with a dog I shed a tear at this scene. Dogs truly love us. Every time I walk thru the door he gets on his back for me to scratch his belly.
That's is why dogs are called man's best friend I'm crying right now I love this movie and you wonder why your dogs is so happy to see you when you get home 🏡😊 love your dogs like you do your children ❤😢
"I worried about you." Even though they were the one lost, suffering and in danger they were more worried about their human than themselves. It sums up a dog's pure love nicely.
If you didn’t cry ? Who are you ?
I love my pets So I basically lose the second Chance comes over the hill first. Then I just lose a few more times while the scene finishes
Chance sounds just like Stuart Little!
That's because Michael J. Fox voices both of them.
@@theashenogre8948 Omg!!!! I knew it!!!!
I cried and I’m not ashamed to admit it
Let us be honest, we all thought that shadow gave up and the duo came back without him. It was peter and shadows loyalty to peter that made shadow fight his way back home. Chance also never gave up on shadow And learned loyalty from him especially with that conversation that they had when they thought that they lost sassie.
"Oh Peter, I worried about you so"
In the kitchen scene before this ending scene who was In the kitchen with the mom was it their grandma or a neighbor with the mom in the kitchen
Oh God, here comes the tears, I use to watch this movie with my dog Tommy, a half lab half German Shepard, shadow reminds me of him when he was old, it’s hard to remember something, but I'm glad I have the memories of him for the rest of my life
Reminds me of my Sam. Died at 14, was forced to put him down, but one of the best memories I have of him was the day I had him put to sleep because of the pain he was in, was getting to take him to the park for one last time. Before that dreaded appointment, we walked around, sat in the grass together, and watched the ducks and other people stroll by.
Me: I'm not gonna cry. I'm NOT gonna cry. I'M NOT GONNA FUCKIN CRY! Shadow: *limps into view* Me: CRIES LIKE A BABY 😢😭😭😭
I watched this movie a long time ago! 🦔 🐕🐕🐈⬛🥛
Now everyone is voting Trump 🗳 let's gooooooo

As someone who just lost a golden retriever of 16 years, this scene gets to me. Such a beautiful and bittersweet scene. Really shows the love between a man and his dog.
hahahah Benny Johnson used this song in his biden/Green Day video! I love it.
Once again, this song so relevant today. Much better than the original too! 🤘
