Today's records sure look strange. Weird colored playing surface. Weird labels.

Those four identical tube are like the four power transistors on the aluminum in later stereo systems begging with the to-3's, the to-220 formats to big integrated circuits.

It’s the sound track for an anime called cowboy bebop. The music is done by a jazz band out of Japan. Good luck on your restoration. These units are pretty straightforward and easy to work on.

Anyone know what's the difference between the SF-183 vs the SF-185 ?
@aarondaniel53725 ай бұрын
I think it’s just a different cabinet. You could still add the srs15 to it for stereo. I’d have to pull the schematics to double check but I’m betting that the internals are entirely the same.

Yeah that swings! Is that automatic player original in that 1941 radiogram?
@aarondaniel5372 Жыл бұрын
No. The original player was a 78rpm only jobber. I swapped in a slightly newer webcor that has 33, 45 and 78. The upside is stromberg used the same model webcor in their later model units so it really looks like it belongs.

I’ve one of these in dark walnut - it’s fantastic. Yours looks & sounds great too. 8 speakers w/ 2- 15’s in a handmade cabinet is a winning combo.
