  The O-ring that I use was just in a kit of O-rings that I had bought from Harbor freight the white parts that I bought that I thought originally were wrong. I found them online and be honest with you. I can’t remember where I got them from. I looked up. The owners manual found the part number, and then Google searched it and was able to find the parts.

  You can use a little Vaseline on the oring and loosen the packing nut a little so the trigger returns smoother and quick. Really not a whole lot to go wrong with those guns. They last forever especially if you know how to maintain em. I have several of these r500 guns. They spray pretty good 👍

  That’s a good idea. I’ll have to do that. Yeah they are pretty simple to fix as well and I really like the way they spray I don’t see any point in wasting thousands of dollars on expensive guns anymore.

  Troy question you put the sealer on then the iner coat clear I never heard of using inner coat or why next you put inner coat clear on what does it do.Does that make it ezyer for blending or seals off the old paint to the new color 🤔

  What the intercoat clear does is fill in any sanding marks in the previous paint job so that the metallic does not lay funny into the sanding marks

  I totally agree unfortunately I think they know that it makes the cars right out quicker but because of metal so thin, they probably use it to stiffen it up

  I don't know how accessible that area is on a Malibu, but you may be able to use 3M Cavity wax with extensions to coat the inside of it and keep it from rusting.

  Yeah, I could probably get in there. The problem is is that damn foam is everywhere and even if I coded in there it’s not gonna get between the foam and the metal fluid to the foam but I think the damage is already too far. It’s just gonna rust other spots now.

  Troy I really lie your videos, What I like is honest reviews and that you do great work but you don't have to use the highest end products to achieve super results. I am going to be staring on my 1966 Chevelle when I retire at the end of this year. You gave me the inspiration to get going on it. How is the paint on that 64 Impala holding up? I am thinking about getting a kit from that same company in Marina blue for my Chevelle. I plan on driving my car all over in the summer. It won't be a trailer queen. Thanks Eric

  The paint on the 64 is holding up great I would definitely use it. Worst case scenario 5 to 10 years if it wears out sand it down and paint it again you could paint that many times with the cheaper paint and still be cheaper in the end

  Old cars are easier to work with in my opinion the metal thicker, which gives you more chance to shape it welded and all that good stuff

  Thank you and no, I did not do them. I guess he’s gonna do them by himself. He said he’s just gonna tape the whole car off this winter and do the jams and dashboard he wants to be able to drive it right now.
