28 here! Been in supply chain in trucking/Logistics for 3 years(first time in the industry). I am looking to change my career to TECH. My plan is to join the military so i can get a security clearance and gain skills etc. please keep me in prayer as i branch out on this new journey. God bless you sis! I promise you it is not! It feel scary when it’s so broad but you just need dedicated time to peal the onion. I suggest looking into cyber security, business intelligence, cloud computing and IT management as a few avenues

It depends, if you can hold yourself accountable and do online self paces work then I recommend Coursera, Udemy and even KZread has some good ones. Buttt if you prefer more of an in class, structured setting then I recommend IT boot camps maybe some that are near you

So as an international student in America, if you want to work on a different field from your study (if I wanted to switch from poli Sci to IT) then I’d have to go back to school and get an IT degree or else I would be out of compliance with my visa. Make sense?

Sure so I mentioned I had to go back to school because of my visa and in those two years I did my degree in information technology. I took a lot of classes on Project management, data analysis and general information technology.

I used to work not very far from there, and it was my go-to spot for lunch when I “forgot” to pack one from home lol
