My page focuses mainly on transportation with a heavy slant towards inland/near coastal marine (tugs, port operations etc). Im hoping to expand my offerings, and try to get some more train vids up, along with trucks and heavy equipment.
Comments are always welcome, but must be civil or I wont post them; I like to keep things family friendly, or at least PG 13.
Ive placed the bulk of my videos into playlists, so if tugboats are your main interest all tug videos, have a separate playlist, as do trucks, trains, heavy equipment, ships, and a few other misc categories.

I actually just brought her up to Staten Island from Norfolk, she's headed to the shipyard for her 5 year tire kickin'.
These days... The new tugboats have lost their beautiful lines as once upon a time!!!! They're so sad looking.... especially in the wheel house!!! How can a tugboat captain dock and undock ships while sitting down???? Unbelievably....So Believable!!!! Where those days.... When the captain was on the bridge standing up with one hand on the wheel and the other on the telegraph???? Just an interesting observation!!!!! Regards, George
@@tug794 oh yeah, the new tractor tugs are a whole new game and that's why the young guys love em, it's literally like playing a giant video game. Old school shipdocking with a low HP single screw tug is a lost art, there's no finesse or nuance with the new stuff. Getting in a jam? Just throw her more throttle and you can power out of hairy situations.
If you replace new complete valve bridge and lash adjuster assemblies on a head, do you need to check the exhaust valve timing?

Hog hauler?? I hauled cattle and hogs in the 70s and early 80s hundreds of loads of cattle no problem 1 load of hogs it would take 3 months to get rid of the smell.

In the Baltimore harbor there rarely a true need for a 5 million dollar tractor tug but I guess when you are born into money and have built a huge company over the decades you can afford it but it sometimes pushes the small 4-8 family owed tug company who started out with a dime and credit to buy a 1944 army tug then a 2 nd tug 1954 army tug the bigger outfits always to push out the minority owed small guy but my cousins have stayed strong over the past 40+ years and are still here and will be since the 2 younger generations of Krause captain’s and engineers are stepping up any nice video fellas stay safe

My father Robert Feil was chief engineer from 1988, desert storm, shield, Somalia. He built a small outdoor swimming pool/ bar for brake time. The rear-admiral at the time was there for an on-board inspection smiled and walk right by it. I was on board so many times when it was stationed in Bayonne. I have so many pics. Makes me sad looking at it!
