Epic data! Interesting to see the patch lines in the data. I would definitely calibrate the sonar to its best ability in order to show the data for demo purposes. You can see what seems like heave or pitch errors in the last dataset. But other than that, great resolution and details. Would be interested to know what it cost.

This green movement is ridiculous. It does not matter what the rest of the world does as long as China, India, Russia, Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines dramatically change what they are doing.
Sure, devloping countries are gonna be prioritising cheap power over reduced eco footprint but this is still the way forward. Kongsberg is leading the push for cleaner and greener shipping. The climate crisis is only going to become more important in the future, so positioning themselves at the front of this is a smart move.

the water depth is calculated by the upward looking sonar. Once the sound pulse from the upward lookin gonar hits the sea surface, it reflects back to the sonar. The depth can be calculated by the (time taken) * (speed of the sound in the sea water). Or, it can simply use the depth sensor which can detect the pressure change interms of the depth
