Just say you DON'T WATCH LIVE TV When i phoned to cancel mine the 1st boy threatened me with a £1000 fine Went up to the bank too cancel my direct debit When i came back to the house i phoned too say that i had been to the bank n they gave me a 2 year exemption

Communications Act 2003, Section 363 (1)A television receiver must not be installed or used unless the installation and use of the receiver is authorised by a licence under this Part. (2)A person who installs or uses a television receiver in contravention of subsection (1) is guilty of an offence. So if you break point 1, you're guilty of an offence, so how do you NOT need a TV licence? I've been looking for answers on multiple channels but no one answers.

When I moved into my new house 4 years ago I had one knock. Maybe because I looked quite young, I just explained that I don’t watch live TV and stream everything. He noted it down, didn’t even come in the house and then never heard from them again 😂… seems pretty easy to me.
