  I do remember that the gas pump was cracked on top. There was a little puddle of gas of top of the gas pump unit. But we couldn’t see it at all until we pulled down the gas tank and found out that the gas pump unit was cracked and leaking

  Thank you for the video i have a question that new pads are thicker than used ones. how did you put two pads in without pushing brake piston back Only steel stick moving can do that? i'm wondering if there's no damage to disk router

  Thanks a bunch. The 12mm bolt was the hidden gem in this video. I’ve changed brakes before but not on this GS430 I have now. I have a slow fluid leak somewhere. I think it’s somewhere near the master cylinder. Any places that you might expect a leak might occur?? I’ll probably bleed the brakes just because I’ve had this leak. Hopefully I can find it. Thanks

  Does most molding based on measure from bottom of the door and then go up xx (i.e. 11 inches) inches equally? I have a 2009 Corolla and the door, window, front wheel, rear wheel are not same height. The other way may be measure from door handle down xx inches. I try to make the molding flow with the car. Thanks for the video.

  Good information! You seem to be one of the only mechanics showing this that know what the 12mm holes are for in the rotor! Most others use a big hammer to beat the cr@p out of the rotor until it falls off....

  My timing chain tensioner on the passenger side had extended all the way out killing the my 02 sport trac, have replaced the tensioner as well as alternator,crankshaft sensor, coil pack, plugs and wires and last but not least downstream 02 sensor, it will crank but not start, any advice?

  Great video, I'm looking into buying a ES that has these moldings but I don't like these moldings. Would removing damage the paint? How difficult is the removal?

  It shouldn’t but u do have to take ur time removing it tho and using adhesive removal. U have to pry on the molding little by little. And use a plastic panel popper so it wont scratch the paint

  @@aldringuzman664 best of luck man. It should be straight forward to replace.....however, do expect some brake fluid to come out from the brake reservoir when your pushing the caliper pistons back. Don’t freak out it’s normal however if you want to avoid that, suck some brake fluid out from the brake reservoir like 1/4 if its on “Full” level with a fluid extractor if you have one. But if its already below the full level line you should be fine, just add some brake fluid after you are done with the brake job n after you have pumped the brake pedal a couple of time. Then add the brake fluid to the proper level and you’re all set

  Thanks for the install video. You mentioned that you might edit video to include a couple of things you forgot to mention. If you edit the the video, would you please show us the actual installation method you use for putting the molding in place and removing the adhesive backing at the same time. I think that's what worries most first time installers. Watching you actually removing adhesive backing and putting molding in place would be key to a proper installation. Thank you.

  Honestly what we would use is a clean rag, 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner and a plastic panel popper that I showed in the video when leveling the panels....when you remove old panels or damage panels just spray adhesive remover on the double sided tape and use a plastic surface to remove it. Dont put alot of pressure because u dont want to damage the paint but once u remove most of the big parts of the tape then spray the clean rag with 3M adhesive remover and go over the surface u want clean n it should remove everything. Then wash the area with soup n water and u should be fine for installation

  You don't have to remove the gas tank , take out 4 bolts in the bed and slide it back about two feet and you can get to it from the top . Easy job than can be done in less than an hour .

  Fuel pump is located under rear driver side passenger seat. If you remove bed you will not be able to get to it.

  the only thing i would have done different is use a floor jack to hold the tank while removing the straps and then to hold it in place for installing.

  Was it the 4-pin (3L2Z-9H307-EC) or 7-pin (2L2Z-9H307-Hx) connector fuel pump? I ask because the 4-pin 2L2Z was discontinued and updated to the 3L2Z 7-pin giving us “does not fit” when searching online through our VINs showing conflicting OEM part numbers for our 2002 MYs. There are a few sites still selling the 4-pins; just wanted to get your thoughts-
