Goof quenstion! With my Queen to d4 move, I give a check and therefore white needs to get out of the check, so no checkmate is threathened. At the same time I attack white's queen and as a result, white has to allow a queen trade or otherwise will loose its Queen after Kh1 for example.

Thanks bro! He could have done that and it was the best move in an equal position. In return I get the d5-break in at some point and my Kings position seems defendable so I think that was his reasoning to go for c4 instead.

The performance rating is just the average of the players ratings, +-few hundred points based on accuracy. If you played like stockfish against an 500, your performance will be 1000. If you blunder scholars mate against hikaru, your performance will be 2500 Nice draw regardless

@@Battle_cats_Bozo Good question! I think even more than with 8x8 chess, this game should be a draw. And starting the game has an even bigger advantage of course and therefore harder to loose indeed. But it very much depends on the difference in level between the players of course. I think it has some interesting differences as pawns are a bit more powerful as they are closer to promotion and zugzwangs are way more common in mini chess
