I bought a pair of Mary Jane docs in the early 2000’s and I wore them everywhere to break them in and I had horrible, awful blisters for the first month or so. And then as if magic, they became so soft and luxurious and the soles were bouncy and they were my favorite walking shoes for almost 20 years. I think I ended up selling them bc I needed the money, but even then they were impressively well maintained. 1) Wear them in the house 2)Wear socks 3) BUY THE CORRECT SIZE Enjoy your docs!

Absolutely LOVE your quads, I get why you're so obsessed with them. I can't find them on the website anymore, unfortunately, so I'll make sure to find them online somewhere. (It's harder to find platforms though, which is understandable since platforms are superior 😭)

I wear them everyday and usually take them as my only shoes when I travel - they can get a bit heavy though but I do it for the style hahaha

I recently had Adrian loafers - the are murder to get on ! Had them stretched and they are a bit better but still bad to get on. They fit once on. I’ve doused them in wonderbalm and bought a shoe horn. Hopefully they will be ok as they were super reduced (£55)

Perfect video timing i just bought a 1461 quad pair this week and patiently waiting for them to arrive. I already have regular 1461 but i know the quad ones will be my spring shoes. If i have to keep one pair it would be my pascal in buttero leather they are just so comfy for my sensitive feet

I have only recently got into Docs in a big way. My favourite are definitely the Church monkey boots in black soft leather with the popping yellow stitching. Not a pair you have it seems. They are very comfortable and don't need breaking in.

Def the black Jadons would be mine . I’m up to pair no 32 😂 my jadons were off vinted and the seller made out they were about new - lies ! They had a very worn out non dr martens insole and lots of scratches and creases . Good old wonderbalm and polish , new laces and dr martens insoles . They are perfect now and such character with the broken in creases!
they are the classics! they used to be my top shoes but I think I just gravitate to these more now but either way they are both perfection! Glad you could fix 'em up and give them a new life!
