  I will never forget when I was a kid and we got our first gas television we could not watch it straight away as no one had a shilling for the gas meter my mother had to wait on the gas man to give us our rebate And when we turned it on that’s when we found out they had sent us the. Brail model it was just like a tv screen. Covered in little dots and we would all spend hours and hours sitting round it in the lounge well I say lounge but in reality it was just a cardboard box that our chicken coop came in well any way we would all be sitting around feeling the TV not to be confused with the next door neighbour Wilma and we all got a little bit of the picture and we would all explain what part of the program we felt some times watching the news would get hilarious if some one spoke out of turn I remember a particular story about the coronation when my brother miss spoke and told us the queen was just getting the throne placed on her crown those were the days 😂 tech has come a long way from when I was a boy from the old gas portable phones I remember them well lugging that 30lb propane tank around just because you wanted to be modern it was a blessing when the wee gas bottles came out but the same problems existed with these phones and still does to this day the dreaded pilot light they are a bastard to keep lit in wind and I don’t need to tell you how windy it gets around here at baked bean fridays ( hey buddy your fart just blew my pilot lite out ) I still use my gas phone to this day but I was real happy when they done away with baked bean Friday one less problem to worry about well I have to go I’m sponsoring a program to get radios for the deaf homeless people ta ta 😂😂😂😂

  This film is one of the hidden gems of the 90's. Neo-noir, neo-Western, with stellar acting and script writing. Dennis Hopper is a true blue badass cowboy from Texas, sporting a Stetson hat and listening to country music while driving his V8 Buick.
