The 3D labels are mainly used for labeling the 3D scene. If you want to label your 2D layout, then use the text field - you can see how this works in the linked video.

This is interesting! Could you tell me how do you recreate the scanned maschines in 3d-form? Did you recreate them according to the scan results using 3D-CAD-programm? Because I'm currently working on a similar project. Looking forward to your reply. Thank you.

Thank you for the feedback. You are right, the geometry is manually remodeled based on the point cloud. The automatic generation of the geometry is currently not so well suited for the factory planning use case. Please have a look at the blog post in the video description, this is described there. Many greetings

But how to do 2D layout. its so hard for new user to orientate here
@vistable-software3 жыл бұрын
That's a legitimate question. Using the tool visTABLE®touch you can do both, very easily. You can start off with a simplified 2D block layout and as the project progresses you can make more and more usage of the model library shipped with the software. You can still work in 2D - and by the same time get a pretty decent 3D representation. So there is no need for a distinction between 2D layout for the sake of ease of use and a more compelling 3D layout: with the right tool you can get the best of two worlds. The key is the simplicity of the user interface.
