Where will it be located? The future of BRICS will largely depend upon which nations emerge as the leadership. Russia tends to think it's them, but that tail cannot wag the dog when both India & China dominate in population & economic power.

If analysts don't believe the labor reports, economic reports etc. from the government, why does the grain trade believe any of the reports from the USDA? Hasn't the opposite of what's reported been closer to the truth?
@markettalkag6 күн бұрын
It's a fair question. My personal opinion here; I think so many folks are used to these numbers being the "be all end all" when in reality it's all subjective. At the end of the day, these markets are highly driven by algorithms now and it means you have to be super smart when it comes to marketing. I do think that later this year we will see the impact of the flooding and other issues on final acreage and yield, etc. -Jesse
@HillCountry116 күн бұрын
@@markettalkag I agree with you which is why we need analysts to start bringing the reality of the situation to their respective interviews, giving the algos some positive headlines to trade from. The farmers need a break. At least yesterday we had a large commodity trader say there would be large food and water wars on the horizon. Maybe that will start the trend to reality. I do believe Mike Zuzolo does a decent job with such.

Not sure where this guy is getting his weather information but La Niña patterns don’t indicate drought for the corn belt. They indicate the opposite, substantial moisture. And NOAA agrees with that trend as they are predicting above average moisture for western, central, and the eastern US. Drought will not be persistent this year, we may not completely recover from the last 3 years, but too little moisture won’t be the problem this year. I’m already looking at a 2.5-4inch rain this coming week. If anything we will be too wet to plant for at least a week.
