  Hi, it's folded from kite base, then fold like a swan/bird head, which is only 3-4 steps from a square. I've also posted another video for folding another green tree for the owl. It's a bit different but still work.

  I love this video so much. I have been folding this model for several years now and I have made at least 500 of these. This is no joke I really have folded 500 of these beautiful pigs. I have taught groups of people to fold this pig. I had fun with surface design on the paper too before I folded them. This is probably my most watched video on KZread I love it so much. I also buy lots of paper specifically to make this model. Thank you thank you thank you for this wonderful video. You are a very talented teacher!

  Absolutely stunning star design by Quyet.The very last move ( getting those small indentations in the center star) really make it! Question: you said thick paper--would Tant work well for this method of collapsing?

  Thank you for your kind words. I think Tant can work well. It's a good paper. Starting from a square size 20cm would be fine I guess.

  Horrible video. You don’t show us any measurements whatsoever. There is no, “oh this is 15 cm wide, and 7 cm long.” There isn’t any of that. Disappointed. I wasted my construction paper on something that didn’t even work.

  @@hungnguyenn2378 Tùy mẫu gấp nữa bạn nhé. Các mẫu phổ thông, đơn giản thì có thể dùng giấy origami ở Daiso, hoặc giấy thủ công của Hồng Hà ở các cửa hàng văn phòng phẩm. Ngoài ra còn có giấy nhăn, giấy gói quà, giấy photocopy. Gấp ướt thì có giấy vẽ màu nước. Giấy Dó cũng rất tốt nếu biết cách xử lý (pha loãng keo sữa rồi quét lên giấy và phơi khô)

  @@HTQuyetOrigami giấy gấp các hình phức tạp như con acient dragon thì nên dùng giấy gì ạ ( độ dày tầm bn là vừa ạ)

  @@hungnguyenn2378 ngày xưa thì mọi người hay dùng giấy nhăn gấp mẫu đó, nhưng giấy nhăn giờ có thể không đủ tốt. Bạn nên thử giấy Dó, khổ tầm 80cm, loại 2 lớp (bóc 2), tự pha loãng keo với màu acrylic để phủ giấy, phơi khô. Giấy sẽ rất dai và gấp tốt.

  So nice, found the cheap 10 by 10 kami i used to soften a bit to much from working it to keep the shape well so i split it into 5 by 5 pieces and that worked really well, It looks so cute when it is smaller
