In "real life" I am an Electrical Engineer. In my spare time I am a hobby firewood cutter and an avid dirt bike rider.

The splitter looks very unstable while spitting large pieces. I'd build a better stand for it with some thicker, more solid steel. The log table is trash too. Way too thin for any serious wood. You need some thicker metal if you're going to mess with firewood. That thing was built for kindling.
I use this method to cut posts from time to time.every one buys the posts/effort put to good use.
Do you recommend it? I have a few acres of semi cleared land in NH and id like to cut back some of the lower canopy. Curious on your thoughts. I’m also running a km 111
That's the exact saw, bar and chain I run most the time
That's so bloody slow. But I guess it can have its uses.
I’ll take two please
You can’t beat wood fired Ribeye!

I know she was having a great time running all the splitters . Its great to see a young person showing interest in this .
She had a blast. She informed me that we have to stay at the campground next year though so we can hang out. 😁 It was great to meet you! Congrats on getting to 1k subs!!!!!
I need to wake up my 620P , yours sounds and runs great .
I brought it with me to Indiana too! Ah well… it’s a different saw for sure!

Thanks for stopping by and subscribing. I've been taking time away due to work... Trying to get back into the KZread swing of things!
just for those who have not seen this splitter operate, it would have been nice to show it in actual operation!
Thanks for stopping by, I do have other videos of me using it.
I watched both this and your previous splitting video. I would like to know why your catch table is so loose and floppy? So far as splitting knotty wood, I have a HF 5 ton electric and I have split all kinds of wood over the past 15 years. If the round has one knot, I like to split through the axis of that knot, but do agree it is best to put the knot on the ram end of the machine. If you have a round that is loaded up with knots, I like to pick the biggest knot and split through it for the first split. Then your procedure works well for the rest of the pieces. My wife likes to put on a larger log, when setting our wood heater up for an over night burn (8 hours), so that is a good time to burn those larger knotty pieces to save some of the hassle of trying to split them all the way down.
It's just the way it fits. You don't need tools to remove it. Not a big deal really. If the wood is nice and straight grained I can outpace my 25T splitter with this little 5T!
Nice looking splits . 👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks 👍 The barkless splits will go to BBQ/Smoker people. Red Oak is the best IMO for beef!
Very nice
