What's bro how that thing running ?
My boyfriend legit has your truck rn
What thermostat did you use? Looking for the same one for my street truck!
And Super Damper part # if you don’t mind! I appreciate it
Rcsb cateyes are really nice. i had to go with the obs, though
Not worth it
Black Lightning
CAF : Cool as F* BIN : Best in Show
BEAUtiful!!!
Do you have to tune it right afterwards if you run the stock ls2 injectors?
Are the tbss injectors 32#? Sorry Idk if it’s mentioned in the video already.
About to finish the 5.7 swap on mine that lost the 4.8 to water in oil, i may see about a baja style bed flares, projector lamps with halos
Just bought a 2500 truck with a 6.0 to go in my 04 1500.... Gonna make a tow monster with it, so this video is my first saved video for the project. 6.0 TBSS intake 706 heads Truck Norris cam And exhaust. Undecided on what to do exhaust wise after full length Headers. It should definitely pull much better than the worn out 390k mile 4.8 that's in it now.
Does the x link connect to the factory nnbs tb?
I just messed my bed on my z71 single I just won 99 I’m looking for one of these bed now
Hi, thanks for your great video and I was able to mount my HotLicks kit on my F150. But, how do you keep flames on the road for so long? I can't, the module cuts off the injection. Incorrect assembly on my side ?
Is there a way to tell from lq4 n lq9 bsides pistons any marks on the put side
I like that Cranial
The LS engine family is proof that DOHC is completely unnecessary.
I’m cooked
Do you have a link to that cold air intake ?
Where can I pick up some of that plastic on your fenders? What's it called?
If you still remember, what was the name of the Rams and where did you get them from?
Also it is stock height what kind of shocks do you suggest for smoother ride....it has zx3 electronic ride control suspension?
Love your channel...I have a 02 silvarado 4.8 2wd on 305/35/24s and I want to put posi on it what do you suggest....motor is stock?
When adding lq9 rods and pistons in a lq4 engine do you have to have the crank assembly balanced?
If the LQ9 rods are from a pre running motor, and stay in the same exact orientation, you should be fine. But its recommended to have them balanced anyways. They are probably off a little bit. But if they are new rods/pistons, definitely get them balanced.
great idea, what size tires and rims are running?
You dont have to remove the hood, the hood bracket has a extra hole for service . It makes the hood go up higher.
For sure! I've used them before, but I have a short garage. I just removed the hood, for when I jacked the truck up.
Good stuff...
Not the same location and clearly colder weather in the 2nd run. Therefore with the cold air you had way better DA. This is not an accurate comparison. It appears you had more negative slope on the 2nd pass as well. There is no significant difference in 3.73 vs 4.10. 4.10 will get your rpm up out of the hole a little quicker which should help 60ft but it also gets you into 2nd gear sooner. Into a higher gear sooner. With 3.73 gears, hot weather and less downhill it took you 8.13 seconds to go from 60-93. With 30 degree air, more negative slope and 4.10s it took you 8.19 seconds 60-93.
Sorry but you didn’t right, first test you keep the throttle engaged until last transmission gear change at 15….second, now, the second test you did you take out the foot of the throttle at 14,….🤷🏻♂️ remember high gear ratio get more torque at the start & lower power at the end, lower gear ratio less torque at start & more power at the end. (ATENTION) Am just talking about streets & drag racing not off road, off road need high gear ratios
If I get this 08 SS trailblazer this week, man I may need to connect with you on some things mechanically on the truck. I’m in hammond indiana
Is that Rockville road or Dan Jones road lol Indy
Going to look at an 08 SS Monday , I’m in hammond indiana. This SS has 145k miles, claimed it was one owner and all bone stock they’ll take 8700
I’m going to test out a 2008 SS trailblazer Monday . 145k miles on it. They’ll take 8700
What part of indiana ? I’m in hammond bud
Nice SS. I have 2007 trailblazer SS that I bought in 2009 and raised my kids in it.
Oh nice, thats awesome! I'll be doing the same thing here soon.
Was it worth it with the gas consumption ?
@@mikelaary911 6 of my vehicles take 93 octane, 4 of those get less than 14mpg. Haha I'm not to worried about the gas mileage. Its the smiles per miles that count. If we road trip, we take my wife's car.
king i have 2002 5.3 put a tbss intake are the intake bolts longer different from 02 stock intake
They are the same bolt lengths. If you are reusing your old bolts, I believe you just have to take the washer off them
Thank you for showing how you removed and flipped it over. I was curious if the bed would dent of it was on its side.
Whats up bro where could i get a new ecm? the 6.0 i bought didn’t come with it.
Do you have the chances master cyd im going to go to hyd fac
Man 500 bucks is dirt cheap for that. I'm in the middle of swapping my 3.73s to 4.10s right now, since I had a bad pinion bearing anyway. I would've paid $500 in a heartbeat for someone to do it including the parts haha
I did this swap to my 06 Sierra and it threw a vacuum leak code. I swapped out the MAP sensor and it went away for a while and came back. Did you run into this issue? I tried the break parts cleaner around the gasket area and nothing. Retighten every bolt, checked the lines.
if is 4x4 i need to change the 2 axle gears?
Correct. If it's 4x4, you need to change the front and rear gears. They need to match, or you will have some big problems.
@@TheKingCoopa thanks for the fast answer!
@@josueortiz2148 for sure, good luck!
What where the gains looking to get my 243s done on my ls2
Honestly better tune in south Texas you should be at 13 quarter mile
Little late but I was curious if you could give your wheel specs as is in this video? Trying to decide if my current wheel setup will look good with the quadrasteer bed.
They were 22x9 +24mm offset, with 285/45R22 Michelins. I ended up adding 3in wheel spacers in the rear (different video), it fit perfectly flush with the quadrasteer bed. Looked perfect from the front or sides, but from the back the tires were so far apart, looked like a dog taking a poop haha. Since then I went with some Legend 6, Forged drag wheels, custom made by 3030autosport. 18x10 in the front with 275/45R18 M/Ts. And 18x12 in the rear with 345/35R18 M/Ts. For AWD.
@@TheKingCoopa awesome appreciate the quick response, I'll have to check that video out and do some measurements. On my SS I have Momo 22x10 with 305/45R22. Not going street/drag look but also not trying to make it an offroad or bro truck either lol. The best way I can describe the look I want is like street/rally? If it looks really dumb from behind I might skip the quadrasteer bed as my tire size is unlikely to change.
Jesus what a square lmao I have nitrous but I don’t want to use it , does a 3 second pull and says “wooow that was fun !!!” Should’ve had a square body for your squats a** My fault for wasting my time with this video Drive it not break it Maybe track it ? Lmao get out the game homie
You speed up the runs ? You dont test run your mods like your locker install video , Grow a pair bud Probably where a helmet each time you where a helmet don’t ya You let your neighbors know your turning on your truck as well don’t ya ? Pu****y
Good video sir. Thank you.
So they do this to stock 243s?
They were previously milled .015, but yes they do stock heads
