  Might be dumb but, why would you down shift to accelerate harder? I thought that would be bad? Wouldn’t you just up shift to be able to go faster? It makes the revving noise if you down shift and you’re going a higher speed so why down shift?

  You downshift in order to increase the rpms of the engine. This will give you more access to HP and TQ which will allow you to accelerate harder. You upshift in order to advance to the next gear in order to maintain and increase speed

  My c43 kinda has that Mercedes rattle is that normal ? I’ve had a c250 Mercedes coupe and it sounds similar I’m just assuming it’s a normal thing? Does anyone else’s c43 sound a little rattle/diesel sound kinda ?

  Dude, i hear a bad noise from your engine (gear box) while you're up or down shifting, you should have it cheched. Or maybe because i never had a Mercedes, that's a normal noise.

  0:30, in stick you need to let off gas to shift up and blip the gas to rev match on down shift but modern cars and especially semiautos (clutchless) do this automatically with electronics so it might be confusing at first for people that have driven stick
