You're absolutely right - it was just tough timing-wise as I was also racing in two classes while trying to get these videos. So I could only meet people and film during certain parts of the day, when they might have been busy racing themselves. We're planning on going to Barber later this year for AHRMA and Adam should be with me so he'll be able to chat up some great people and we'll do our best to capture it all!

I would love a CB1100. The second generation CB1100 (post re-design) are really expensive in Japan right now, as Honda ended production. Some clean examples are selling for higher than the original retail price. This is a gorgeous kit!

Normally see bikes coming across the pond in the other direction. These all look like top condition restorations/extremely low mileage examples that have been bought just to put into an auction to make max profit. We know the US versions of these bikes were a bit lame, is that what drives the US demand for European models?

Great video. I own one too. Here in Germany it’s a real Autobahn eater. It’ll easily and comfortably cruise 200km/h for an hour or two. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Looks amazing, but also looks very poorly built. That rear fender looked like it was hanging on for dear life. Doesnt seem quick, comfortable to ride, or practical in any way.

I had an 81 CB900F in silver with the blue horizontal stripe and then an 83 CB1100F when they first came out...actually got to see them come out of the shipping crate. There was a guy in CA (Kaz Yoshima) from Ontario Moto Tech that made these bikes go really fast. He always had time to talk with you on the phone. Also, Honda sold something called a sport control kit that included rear sets and superbike bars and new controls that really set the bikes off. We used to ride them up to the 250cc Moto-X races at Unadilla and then to Loudon, NH for the superbike race...great times!

Honda really do know how to waste huge amounts of money on R&D projects, this bike's predecessor was built for racing & was a total unreliable flop, Honda had so much money in it, they still went ahead with this, the customer road version NR750 even knowing it was an engineering disaster, Honda squandered millions on this project & never made a bean.

Love Adam's enthusiasm he reminds me of myself! I remember back in the day drooling over the early ZX 7's! I've owned over 50 bikes and at 48 yrs old now. My 90, 92 and 94 ZX 7's make me turn around and look back at them with a shit eating grin. When a bike can produce that reaction she's a keeper

Very nice!
