I need that pullout compartment added to my sink. I don't remember if you said it can or can't be done but, if it can be, let me know. No rush, I know you're booked, which is always a good thing. God is good all the time. I'll text you.

Great work! So to recap- primer, filler, sand, primer and what type of paint did you use? What type of primer? Tia

Clean sand primer. Once you’ve primed you can sand before or after the filler. I choose to go with the filler first and try to not have too much excess of the filler on your surfaces as it’s going to cause you to have to do a bit more sanding vs if your very tedious. Once your filler is dry sand it down along with the primer with about 220 to 320 grit sand paper and then reprime to help build up a good foundation for your paint and make the grain less defined. Once that’s complete sand down with 400 for a nice smooth surface for your paint wipe everything down with a tack cloth or microfiber rag then start applying your color. You can sand in between coats with 3000 grit to keep your surface smooth all the way to the clear coat. I use Bin Bruner it is shellaq based and drys quickly and hardens. Great for creating a clean surface and sands down very easy. I will then use breakthrough made by ppg. It is water based and comes with the option to acquire the product in lower VOCs to not leave an odor or smell lingering. You can also use a water based urathane as they are great maintenance wise but they have a dry chalky feel wich requires a little bit more sanding in the end. I always recommend sealing your final finish with a clear coat. Water based polys are great for this that way your work is locked in and shielded with a little bit more shine and super easy to maintenance.
