These dogs, when they are walking they seem to be out of shape. However, once they start chasing, they are as fast and agile, and 9 out of 10 will have their meal guaranteed on the table.

Zebras aren't exactly pushovers. I've seen them kick the crap out of lions. So even though outnumbered, these dogs don't pose much of a threat at all.

It's interesting why would these dogs waste their time with an impossible prey like zebra! Even hyenas wouldn't stand a chance against their vicious kicks.

@@GenericDan They almost always do against hyenas. A healthy fully grown zebra has nothing to fear against hyenas. Only the sick and old become prey.

Wild Dogs actually can bring down Zebras, many packs even specialize in them.
