I am in awe to everything youre saying. I literally just moved away from Reno. I can relate on so many levels to this whole video. I used meth and heroin as well, got arrested, now I've been clean for over 4 years. For what it's worth I am proud of you! Keep doing what you're doing! Keep your head held high when you walk down Wells or Valley into P&P and continue to inspire yourself.

Interesting but maybe since I am impulsive I can't remember being upset with very many selections in my life..... But someone like the creator seems to not have an impulsivity problem because he acts like having 1 million choices and indecision is a bad thing while I don't see it as a problem once a decision has been made at all!!!! I guess I just love have millions of options!!!

Instead of “ex wife” you can call her your “first wife”. Even if your not remarried she’s always going to be your first wife 💕. Btw you’re doing a great job. Thank you for being so honest with your past. It’s been very helpful.

The stigma is so bad surrounding opioid addiction and getting treatment, especially for professionals and more so medical professionals. I feel like it should be the other way around. (Like if a doctor or nurse needs help, they should be able to get treatment without repercussions or losing their job, as long as they don’t test positive when the come back from treatment then I feel like they shouldn’t get in trouble.) The frustrating part is that the medical system still hasn’t caught up with the ever growing opioid epidemic we’re facing. I have had 17 surgeries, 13 of those were brain surgeries and the first was in 2002 when OxyContin was still considered a miracle drug. I realized I had a problem and went back to the doctor who prescribed it and told him that and he cut me off cold turkey. I was so sick so I went to friends. Then I’d have to have more surgeries and be prescribed more OxyContin. I eventually tried 6 inpatient detoxes:rehabs, countless NA meetings and eventually started at a methadone clinic. The clinic saved my life! Yes, I know the stigma surrounding it but I DON’T CARE! Recovery isn’t a one size fits all. I currently tapering off now and I pray that I’ll be able to get off of it one day but if not, that’s okay too.

"it was the worst moment of my life" "i didn't expect to be crying on camera" lmao maaannn 🤣 i totally get it and i hate, HATE crying, but crying while recounting the story just means that when you say it was the worst moment of your life, you're not exaggerating. it hurt then and it hurts now. that pain will probably last for the rest of your life. if it ever stops hurting completely you're probably dead

Nope. Not throwing away my childhood items my father took years to save. I have kids and do the same. These items don’t define you. They mark a place in time we can’t replay or go back and change. Also not sleeping on the floor. A bed is where you spend a 3rd of your life and your health matters. The floor is a direct sign of bringing prison home imo. But it’s your life brother. If you want to do these things that’s your business but not me. Or anyone I know for that matter.
