Ok, so if I buy a call option, and the price goes down. I let it expire and lose the premium? regardless of how low the stock has gone?

We're sorry to hear that. It's part of the game early on, so keep your head up! Also, try to find a reputable community (like ours!) where you can learn a repeatable process that members in that community have been proving concept with for years!
Do you guys have a system for futures trading ?
Hello! Yes, if you join our community of members we have training that focuses on trading futures options, specifically S&P 500 futures.
THE BEST!!

We appreciate that! Thank you for the kind words!
Awesome video!

I am new to options, and have been trying it using Robinhood. I am wondering why you prefer thinkorswim? Despite the cost that could add up pretty fast if you increase the volume. Do you have any recommendations regarding platforms in 2024? Thank you
As an investor who loves US stock options, I must say this uSMART promotion is amazing! Zero commissions, no minimum order fees, support for trading index options products (SPX, VIX, NDX, DJX, OEX, and XSP), and multiple strategies supported (put options, covered call strategies, vertical spread strategies) - it's truly a trading platform tailored just for me!
Excellent video - one of the best educational videos i have watched. You made sense of a complex issue, many thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words!
Well explain. THANK YOU.
You bet! Thanks for watching!

Y'all need to go to this channel. Go there and LEARN. You won't be disappointed
Maybe I'm missing something but it appears 1/2 of this strategy is selling a naked call, which I understand is a great way to get wrecked if you get assigned. Especially if it's a high price stock/etf.
Hello! Selling naked strangles and/or naked puts and calls can certainly sound scary on paper. However, short strangles are probably the number one strategy that successful option sellers use. You can get "wrecked" in many ways while interacting with markets, while someone else using the same strategy is successful. It's more than just what strategy you are using. Entry guidelines and management mechanics are where edge is added or taken away. Hopefully that helps!
Love the chill vibe of this video. Cant believe the YT Algo isnt making this easy to find, happy I found it.
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for the kind words!
Quite helpful, thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
The senario2 > we still entry at 75 $ , i confuse why is 73 ? then make P/L +0.5??? how to ?
Hello, I'm sorry I don't quite understand the question.
Great video thanks! So if i understand well if the stock is close to $85 you can just protect your your call option by buying 100 stock? Ideally at $85 or less and therefore you lock your profit from the short put and neutralize the loss of your short call?
One thing people need to realize is when sell calls. As long as your strike price is above your cost basis your, "loss" is actually "potential loss" because you are actually making profit based on selling above your cost basis... This is why the wheel strategy is a thing.
Hello! Yes, I think what you are referring to is an "unrealized loss." The loss is technically just a short term loss so long as the stock trades below the call strike. As expiration approaches that short term loss will grow smaller and eventually turn into a winner thanks to time decay. Thanks for the comment!
you can do it, but you have to be really disciplined and know how a stock will run with a particular news. example, during a bear market a phase one topline news for a drug will run premarket up a dollar or two. depending on if the DOW is up or down that day will dictate how the stock will run for the rest of the day during regular hours. if it's up, hold and sell around 11: 30. if its down. wait for the dip and buy around 11:30. always wait 10 to 20 mintues after the market opens before you buy just to be safe. if the support levels are increasing, buy.
Thanks for the comment!
I wasted so much time watching video on the same subject. But, you're video is to the point that you give examples after the content that you are trying to teach. This information is explained in very clear, precise, basic terminology that anyone could understand. Thank you for also teaching the concept of options trading in order. Great, Keep it up.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the kind words and for watching!
Do NOT hold onto losing trades waiting for them to become winners! Thats how your account will go bust.
Research could suggest otherwise!
what book did he read from ? 😆- this video broke a lot of traders
Thanks for the comment!
For you to comment on candles and patterns, you have to have the thorough knowledge about them, which surely you do have but let your followers also gain the experience about them even they might be useless and let them decide.
Thanks for the comment!
You gotta watch a few videos to get it all, but this one really puts it all together for me. Thank you skyview trading, you’re a lifesaver.
Glad you enjoyed it! Keep up the hard work!!
Wish you would devote a complete video to this depressing concept. There must be a way to address and overcome this or many would not be in the market.
Thanks for the comment!
What are the prerequisites for SkyViewTrading training especially regarding option trading knowledge?
Most of our members came to us with no prior options experience! We take our members from A to Z in the world of options.
I have always felt that us retail market trader wanna-bees are just easy marks for the "professional" traders who have unlimited access to inside information and tools that the rest of us will never have.
It's understandable, but with enough time and experience in markets we think you would come to a different conclusion! We encourage you to be a bit more open-minded on this topic. The markets are fair. Finding repeatable edge is hard. But it's possible, and extremely rewarding!
How do traders without access to after-market-trading, account for being shut out of this arena? Does it matter? Should it matter? Why does this situation exist?
There's no reason to trade in the after-hours as far as we are concerned!
I have come to appreciate "the hand". Part of this reminds me of the movie, "Moneyball" when Brad Pitt's character is selling the idea of, "They (his potential team new hires) get on base...OBP." Already have the grey hair so...
haha great to hear!
Do you have a video which demonstrates adjusting either side of the IC, to address movement of the stock which threatens to breach either side of the IC strategy? @8:42 - 8:45 when you say "probability of ITM at 13%" aren't you clicking on an OTM Call at the $260 strike price? What am I missing?
Hello! We have more advanced videos that go over our specific adjustment mechanics for members on our website. And yes, we were clicking on the 260 call strike which was OTM. The column we referenced was the Prob ITM column. That is the probability that the strike expires ITM. That was 13%. We could have also shown the Prob OTM column also, which would have shown 87%. Hopefully that makes sense!
@@skyviewtrading Yes. Thanks for those details.
👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥
You rock!
it's not a theory at firs place
Thanks for the comment!
I love Flo from Progressive❤
haha who doesn't!
Like this "simplified" approach at an easy pace and a reasonable "bite size" amount of information.
Glad it was helpful!
