I have a Salomon Bonatti trail jacket water starts coming through after a couple of minutes. Why do these companies charge so much for these jackets, advertise them as waterproof- and they’re effectively useless in the rain..
@teaandtrailsКүн бұрын
Yeah, It would manage expectations much better if they said water resistant.

Great idea running without the distraction in your ears. I'm sure that before the Walkman was invented, there were a lot of people happily running "raw". I never listen to things while running. I tried it but felt disconnected from the run and my surroundings.

Didn't get on with the original Mont Blanc, it was comfortable but too unstable and too easy to roll an ankle on traverses and technical ground. This looks like it could be a lot better with some support around the toe to stop the foot rolling of the side... Will give them a try.

Really liked Ajay even though he made me feel old without trying to! Interesting his take on strength training.....I'm just going to assume it's because he doesn't have old legs! Always like when The Green Runners are mentioned. Also....if Ajay is reading this (as if he isn't!) I'd say trail running is a good substitute for practicing mindfulness in a quiet setting. The amount of time remaining present going up and down trails, over rocks and roots etc is amazing for the mind. From salty nuts to swollen bollocks this one was another gem!
