    Well done mate keep up the hard work! Nice to see someone having success. Them jags are bad news get it out asap😂nah I’ve done a few of them but keep coming back for warranty work. I’d rather fix them and have the customer come back bring their family etc but definitely profit is almost gone on most of them. Having said that they are very good value for money if you can stomach the maintenance. Subbed, I’ll follow along!

    Just picked up a 2024 sandero expression. 5 to 10k cheaper than anything else of the same size and 2k cheaper than 1-2 year old nearly new models with longer warranty and half the apr on the finance.. Its a 2024 renault clio underneath. Very pleasantly surprised with the comfort, the suspension eats bumps so much better than any other hatchback ive ever driven. Getting 43 mpg on the 1.0 tce engine but i do a lot of local sub 30 mph driving. It replaces a fiat panda 2015 that blew a head gasket at 60k miles.........

  • @FlippinMotorsUK

    Excellent choice, decent spec. Money well spent. I found the way it handles bumps very good too even on this older model!

  • @cartouchator
    @cartouchator3 ай бұрын

    @@FlippinMotorsUKexpression is the highest spec for the sandero. At the time of purchase, you could only get the extreme spec on the step way. But the step way forces you with a 6 speed gearbox and when driving at 30-40 it's constant constant gear changes. In the sandero 5 speed , you'd stick it in third from 20 all the way to 45 😂 and the 5 speed at 70 is on 2300 rpm, versus 2100 rpm in the 6 speed, and the difference is like 2 mpg on motorways. 6 speeds isn't always better !

    We were down to Sandero and C3 last year and went with Dacia. 2022 with 12000 miles on, tce, air con, auto lights and wipers, Satnav and Android auto etc. Improved too with nicer dashboard, more comfortable seats, better steering wheel and better door handles. Getting (on Eco button) high 50s to low 60s per gallon on E5, high 40s on E10 and high 30s.on LPG Absolutely love the car, only mistake was not going with Stepway for better access for me and my spinal pain (from a rear ender in the 90s). I pick it over my Citroen C4 when we go out anywhere, if it's around. Only downside we found with car itself is it has crappy, hard to hoover carpets and reverse camera fitted under back bumper and unusable after a mile on a wet day.

    Our youngest son has a Corsa D 1.4SXi 2007 and our eldest son has a Corsa C 1.2 Twinport - tbh I prefer the C, it feels so much more slicker than the D and just as quick, the D feels stodgy and like you sit on it, rather than in it, the D is also very thirsty. Both interiors have stood up to time well though, the D has 164k on it (had new engine a few years ago which now has 101k on it plus a new clutch), the C has about 127k and had a new timing chain about 5k ago

    @@Milnoc Abarth costs a lot more though , to find a 10 year old Abarth would cost you £3 grand more than buying a standard 500 and if like me you only need a car to get from A to B then it would be pointless owning the Abarth version , another reason being the paint on these Fiats chips easily , stones from the road etc do a lot of damage sadly

    note the flashing mileage - Either needs Blue&Me module or a Proxi Alignment

    Interesting I'll get the garage to have a look at that. If not I know a good Fiat specialist

    Proxi alignment done all working good now, thanks for the heads up! He even sorted the sensors all for £60! I'd highly recommend Andy Petch if you're from the North East, specialises in Fiat, Alfa and mainly Abarth

    I had a blue one lovely bright thing, sold in days, loads of interest 61 plate, but it looked cheap as it was about 120k. Lad kept it a short time as it was a temp car and really struggled to sell it after for similar money!

    @DaleSteel they're a smart mans car. Not mainstream but a great buy over Focus, Astra etc. Sadly there's not a lot of smart buyers out there 🤣

    @FlippinMotorsUK true. Its like the fiat 500s. They ain't a great car but guaranteed you'll sell it straight away

    @DaleSteel it's the Vauxhalls up here people love for some reason! The 500s are very colour and spec dependent though!
