The US and Italy have different definitions of "pizza by the slice" Here, you get large slices each for a fixed price. In Italy, the slices are smaller, and you're charged by weight

Tried to visit on the Fourth of July weekend. Unfortunately they only let in people who have a room at the resort. Thankfully there are day options for day visits, so I’ll try again some other time!

First of all, gravity is a natural force and the universe is influenced by that force. The fact that it can generate patterns like galaxies and solar systems isn’t indicative of a design or designer, any more so than hydrodynamics creating snowflakes. That’s an extrapolation you’re making based on your religion. Gravity is also something that created black holes. Seems like a bad design since it’s far more likely for black holes to emerge than life. Also, the word “accident” implies intent which we don’t see. So the way the universe works shouldn’t be labeled as an accident from either side since nobody really believes that. Second of all, evolution is one of the most well supported scientific theories we have. We understand how it works better than we understand gravity. To say that it’s pseudoscience is like saying that creationism is well supported by evidence; a blatantly false claim. Finally, you can believe that you’re designed beautifully with purpose. That does not make it true nor supported by any evidence whatsoever. Based on how you’re talking about evolution, I’d frankly be shocked if you knew what evolution even is.

My family founded Nashville and from internal family documentation I can tell you for a fact that not only Nashville but in general the history of the state of Tennessee is false. My family " founded" both and both political parties. The whole thing is fake history.

idk who you are or what this place is. but never. EVER. trust or eat at place that wraps their flat tops in aluminum foil. you will be eating micro flakes of it and I promise you that. it's a pathetic and lazy way to avoid cleaning your grill at the end of the night and I'd fire whoever tf decided they wanted to wrap it

It may seem miraculous, even divine that we have come where we are purely by chance. However, we have a built in survivors bias by the nature of experiencing the sensation of being alive. We can't truly know the huge proportion of star systems that have no life, or even the potential universes that are barren because one variable was slightly different. If you believe that a divine entity created our planet and everything on it, I don't expect to change your mind. Please remember, even statistical inevitabilities seem miraculous when you experience them

The difference is that a creationist/intelligent designer and atheist/humanist both believe in a miracle concerning the creation of the universe. Just one actually has an explanation for that miracle while the other clings to a belief that is contradicted by their own god, science.

@@michaelhigdon2912 true enough, although I'd argue that the atheist argument also has reasoning, just that the reasoning is luck
