  @@LocutusMoW -Posted this comment on steam as well, its more I'm not sure why the mod is not starting. Im doing all the setup stuff, selecting ODST fight fight then the custom UNSC firefight mode but nothing changes when I jump in.

  @@quintonthesecond4420 I wanted Winter Contingency to be a thing. I tried. But every update for Call to Arms would break something. Also the AI is atrocious in that game engine and ruined the fun. Trying to build a shooter game in an RTS game is a bad idea.

  This mod really nails the frantic and hectic experience of being in a halo universe skermish. At any second some lucky jackal can take your head off or a plasma bolt can damn near remove your arm with a well placed hit to the shoulder. When i played it felt like watching recovered footage of a trooper regiment holding the line against the overwhelming covenant. The plasma going so fast makes it feel like how the ODST trailer made it look.

  When you press play there should be 2 options between normal Halo MCC (anti-cheat disabled) and Halo MCC anti-cheat disabled. Choose the one with anti-cheat disabled, go to Halo Reach custom firefight then click on modded missions (should be below the first option) then choose any of the maps and you can start playing the mod. Hope this helped.

  This is one of the best mods I have ever played, thanks for this awesome work. Is there any way to be able to play with other models of ODST or Marines, I want to play with the backpack ones but I can't get them, Best regards :)

  Thank you. I intentionally removed the backpacks from the player models because they would partially obstruct the camera when switching to the left shoulder view.

  Anyway you could add that back. I understand why you removed it but I would love to have a system like the “Playable ODST Marine mod” has where you equip different armors on your Spartan and they travel over to your Trooper or whatever you have. If you want to look up that on Nexus mods or something. Your mods amazing and is defiantly the best version of the Marine 3rd person mods but I would really enjoy customizing my guy. Thank you for everything you have done and I hope you’ll notice my comment.

  Trooper Firefight 2024 is one of the most well thought out mod out there you did a fantastic job! Will you be adding scripting of aerial vehicles i.e falcon support into the mod as well?

  I could script it so you press E on a stationary radio to call in a Falcon that orbits the combat area and provides support. I could also just make it a totally random thing that shows up every now and then then departs the battlefield to “rearm” I will add it in the future but my biggest priority is new maps at the moment

  I absolutely LOVE mods that give you a more lore-accurate look at what fighting as a normal human is like. This definitely one's my new favorite. I really like how shit-your-pants terrifying stickies are in this 7:45 also gave me huge Halo: Landfall vibes
