Very informative, thank you for sharing!
If I am not resident we of 1 st formation could manage my company for me?
I don't know about the UK but in Italy there are non-repayable loans that the state gives to companies, often start-ups, there are also these types of loans in the UK
great advertisement lmaoo
Wait. Is this a targeted video ? I am starting a company, on my own. Why would I need formations?
I'm not starting a company but still got it recommended.
Very helpful video!

Great Info as usual ♥
how much does it cost to close the UK company?
Great Video - Informative as always
Very helpful. My friend had to close ltd company and it was quite complex. Your step by step explanation is very helpful and simple. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind comment, Paulina. Sometimes it's hard to know where to begin when dissolving a company, so we're glad we could break it down to our customers. Do you own a LTD company?
Thank you for the support and good content all around!
Thank you for your kind comment, Henrique. Is there a topic you'd like us to cover in a future video?

@@1stformations Hi, yes actually, I heard Liam refer to 1st Formations “sister-brand” in a webinar. I currently own a company and am thinking of how to best structure what I’m loosely calling a “branch” of an affiliated company. Do you already have a video regarding this? If not, I would definitely request one 😀
Very informative - thanks
You're very welcome! Do you own a limited company?
Wow 😳❤
Thank you for your support. Did you know how to dissolve a company before watching this video?
"Super easy", however, there is you to make it all clear to us newbie. Thank you! It doesn't sound nice at all, but it is what it is!
Thank you for your continued support Jelena, we appreciate you!
@@1stformations It is mutual, we must support each other. Thank you, for all of these invaluable information
I'm trying to set up a not for profit company which doesn't have the word "limited", but is limited by guarantee and Companies House has just returned my application because it says I need to choose either amended or bespoke articles of association. I don't have a clue what this means.
Thank you for your comment, Laura. Good news, this is a service we can provide. Please contact our customer service team on 020 3987 2233 and they will be able to explain what is required.
Thank you so much. I was fretting out over this form before I found your video. Very helpful.
We're so glad we were able to alleviate your concern. Have you recently set up a limited company?
@@1stformations No I've had my company for several years now, but only recently doing business with organisations in the US.
Good value information
Thank you for your kind comment. Have you watched any of our other videos? :)
The 2019 laws apply only to personal self-assessment, right? For example, if I started trading and I have small bits of income from an eCommerce store (which is by default untaxed) - I still need to submit a self-assessment as the company right?

Thank you for your support!
#msrp How does sic code relate to gnp
A ‘SIC code’ is used by Companies House to classify the type of business activity (or activities) in which a company or other type of business is engaged. Please note, SIC codes are used simply for statistical purposes and your business’ activities are not strictly limited to the SIC codes selected. Please let us know if you have any further questions?
Your videos are very concise and informative, however, the best advice is "ask expert and your accountant" for the most accurate data. Legal rules are constantly changing. Luckily, we have you, easy to follow all of your information
Thank you for your kind comment, Delicija. You are absolutely right - there are always changes to be aware of and we do our best to educate and inform our customers of any such matters. Have you watched any of our other videos?
@@1stformationsI watch all the time, if I forgot something, or I didn't quite undrstand. Over and over again. Btw, I have two accounts, Delicija and Jelena But this is Delicya ltd, registered by you. You give better advice and up to date information, than my Accountancy agency. Unfortunately. I watch short videos, too. I will be lost withou you
@@JelenaSimic-qn9ts Ah yes that makes sense! Thanks for explaining Jelena :) We're so glad you find the videos useful. Let us know if there is a topic you'd like us to cover in future!
If you already ask, I would really appreciate explanation, more in depth in this topic. I will copy paste paragraph, from your blog. Because my accountant is not capable to give me any advice or information. Strange, but true «If you sell products to customers in the EU, you’ll need to register for VAT in each destination country. Alternatively, you can register in just one EU Member State via the One Stop Shop (OSS) taxation scheme. Unlike UK VAT, there is no turnover threshold for EU VAT registration - you must register as soon as you start selling there." Thank you so much❤
You are the best

Hello! thanks for informing! best regards
Thank you for your kind comment. Did you learn something new?
Hello, I am a non-resident in the UK and have not made any sales yet. Do I need to sign up for this self-agreement?
Thank you for your comment. If your company has stopped trading and has no other income, you can tell HMRC that it’s dormant for Corporation Tax. You’ll still need to file a Company Tax Return online - this will show HMRC that your company is dormant for this period. You can do this here - www.gov.uk/tell-hmrc-your-company-is-dormant-for-corporation-tax.
@@1stformations I completed that on November 28, 2023. Do I need to do it again? I have not received anything from HMRC since then. where i can check the Taxes ?
@@MrEagle2050 Thank you for your comment. No, that shouldn't be necessary. The dormancy stays for a period that HMRC will confirm - usually it is 5 years. If you are unsure, please contact HMRC directly on 0300 200 3410 or +44 151 268 0571. Please also bear in mind that you will still be required to file dormant company accounts with Companies House every year, otherwise you will be fined. You can find more information about our service here - www.1stformations.co.uk/dormant-company-accounts/.
@@1stformationsThank you for your response. Regarding the taxes, if I make a sale, does it switch to an active company? How do I inform HMRC - do I have to file as a dormant company or active? I am a non-resident in the UK and I am unsure how to find someone to help. Someone has suggested that you can refer to a tax office or accountant.
@@MrEagle2050 Thank you for your response. You will need to let HMRC know that you are trading again, and file trading accounts with Companies House. You can find more information about the steps here - www.gov.uk/restart-a-non-trading-or-dormant-company. Please note, we are unable to assist with trading accounts and would recommend contacting an accountant.
