There's Legends of 9 ft tall and taller even alligators that walk around on two legs down here in South Florida the Indians have sworn by them. Deep in the Everglades where man gets lost.
They didn't think showing up with a bunch of ships wouldn't be threatening? Why not send a small ship or a probe to announce your visit before you bring a fleet? Crazy paranoid group seems to have a lot of resources nobody else does. The ships sat there for weeks and nothing happened. Is everyone stupid? They could not figure out how to talk so they just sat there. But yeah, just start a war before you even know what their capabilities are. So far, nobody can reason, think, solve problems, or act rationally.
It always seems to end up here. You can die an honorable death, or win a dishonorable victory. Isn't booby trapping your wounded perfidy?

I too have given your comment a thumbs down 👎. Judging this because it’s not in the format you want rather than on its merit is an act of a stupid person. As a person with a reading disability, I have listened to hundreds of audio books. Some good, some bad, but without the audio format I would have missed out on all those stories.

Excellent story. And the narration was very well done.
Unlikely a tyrannical empire would surrender after one battle, in spite of the overwhelming defeat. Hubris such as that possessed by the Draconis does not dissipate so quickly. Then the Earth Captain tells the galaxy their vaunted ship kills its crew because of fatal engineering flaws, stupid move, fix the problem, don't reveal it.. The Draconis leadership turns on Amir like the Democratic Party against Biden. This story degrades into political Pablum as it progresses. Then the Void Wraiths show up, all the while the politicos are whining about arms escalation. Give us a break.

@@failegion7828 It's very easy to find out. Fiverr could be a decent place to get started. I think you would be surprised to discover the quality of human voice actors you can get for a very reasonable price. I regularly dub videos from Russian into English for funny and educational kids videos for practically nothing. It doesn't take me long and I have a great sense of satisfaction that I'm helping children learn. My last one was teaching the ABC's. AI supplants this effort. I can clearly hear the lack of humanity in that voice. But, you do what you think is right.

I was looking for a such a story If youve never seen a military regiment shout in sync ypu should if you get the chance to know just how powerful synced and intentional human voices are close second would be a stadium chant.

--88? Is this a branch off of your other channel? Or a replacement? I see your NO REUSE ALLOWED. Plenty of channels that change the Header, change small parts of the plot and regurgitate a "new" story. I'm certain some channels are using AI to write them. That is sad. I'll never believe an AI has the ability to understand the human element of story writing. Repeats and mispronounced words all through them. --Loved the story. I grew up loving Science Fiction. Imagine...60 years ago I could never have fathomed the ships, the races and the tech of todays stories. --I agree with others that these stories move along at breakneck speeds; they are short stories after all. --Every story I listen to has my mind whirling around concepts as to how I could turn these stories into books since there are so many times I thought of the Chapters one could develop from every few minutes of these stories.
