@@thisiswhatsheslike With an extensive catalogue of brilliant material which was ignored, to finish on such a tedious and mundaane note is not too good in my opinion. I felt a bit shortchanged, esecially with such a limited section in the second hlf of the show, for which I had to endure the new album first half for.

@@craiggerrard5117 sadly with such a vast and varied back catalogue you have to end with something and you’re never going to please all the people all the time. A massive amount of people were really surprised and happy to hear CF live and sang so beautifully. You were there obviously so you must have heard the crowds reaction. That said it was good to hear JWS at other venues.
@craiggerrard51179 ай бұрын
@@thisiswhatsheslike I thought the reaction was a bit subdued tbh. It's just that after being a fan of KR for over 40 years and being cheated of seeing him live on more than one occasion in the past, I was hoping to be rewarded with more of the songs that I like, particularly given the very expensive ticket price. To get nothing from the Don't Stand Me Down album, my personal favourite, was a particular disappointment. But, like you say, you can't please everyone and some would have been a bit annoyed if he had finished with, say, The Occasional Flicker.

@@craiggerrard5117 I think we have to be mindful that this particular show was to showcase the feminine divine in its entirety not a greatest hits as such and I took the 2nd half as a bonus so was happy to hear songs live . Not all my favourite songs were played but I still loved all the songs played, and I do think there will be more in the future ;)
