Hi Michael, I only used this channel for my eBay sales as a way to embed a video into a listing, so I wasn't interested in any comments... But more to the point, I didn't pay attention to whether comments were allowed or not, so embarrassed as I may be for my lack of awareness, I didn't realize it until you just brought it up. I'm starting a new channel soon for my business and that will be a "Real" video channel. Thanks for the interest!!

what battery and Hirose cable were you using? I have a similar lens and I am having issues powering the servo on the lens
@ITISolutions6 жыл бұрын
Jakevx1k that battery was available about 5 years ago and it went for about $30. It's been so long I don't recall the specs. I built those cables, and again, it was so long ago that the parts and availability are unknown at this time. I've been working on several other businesses for a while now which consume most of my time and energy. I haven't been able to deal with the Optics like I used to. Sorry I don't have more information for you. by the way I purchased maybe 30 or more of those batteries on eBay all that time ago. I believe my search criteria was "portable 12 volt power supply", but today if you search that you're going to get all kinds of different results.

Hi, I own this lens too. What adaptor do I use to convert to Micro 4/3 GH3? My lens came off a Sony Beta Cam. Thanks for the video.

Hello, If you look at the clip, at around 1:50 you can see the setup. I have an external battery (any 12 volt DC source will do) attached to the servo grip with a cable that I produce. The connectors are not that easy to get and I only make them a couple times per year, but they work great. Thanks for your interest!

The battery is out of China, and there isn't a "Brand" per se. It has 12V, 9V and 5V USSB ports and is very useful as I can run a GH2 or GH3 and power the lens. The only problem with these batteries is that it takes forever to get. I accumulate lenses and parts and occasionally sell them on eBay. I was selling the rig in the video. Nobody purchased this one, and I'm glad because now I need it and it's worth way more to me than what I would have sold it for! AM

Hi Alan, Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I build the cables and sell them on eBay when I have extras. The problem is getting the Hirose connectors, they aren't sold by many electronic distributors, and it takes a little time to get them after placing an order.
