Not that the CZ is a bad rifle but, the Anschutz is the better rifle. Anschutz 1710 provides 50 metre groups, inside of 1/2 inch all day long. No CZ has made it to the Olympics. There

Love both guns! The Hellcat is smaller and lighter. I can pocket carry it but the Taurus is to big for the pocket.

The bbl profile at the receiver is much better on the CZ 452. I'd put my 452 FS against the 64 series Anschutz any day. For an average shooter my 1710 DKL shoots marginally better than the 452 FS. I'd also rather shoot the FS over my 64 series Anschutz. Bought my 64 Annie 50 years ago.

Carry guns only need a night sight on the front sight... blacked out rear gives the gx4 a combat sight where you focus on the front sight post. Do not know why so many people go all tacti-cool and put red dots and lasers on a conceal carry weapon. KISS- "keep it simple $tupid" is a principle to live by.

For me 17,19 or 45 are not so good to carry, probably a 43 or 26 would be a better option

Forget the ramp gripe, to me that looks like crap ... the Ruger (unlike the Smith) has provided a super easy way to exchange to whatever front sight floats your boat.

I know I’m late to this but I’ll chime in. I also own both of these pistols. Both have been 100% reliable. I do like the sights and the trigger on the shield a little bit more. The smith has a lighter trigger which for me makes me more accurate and the sights on my gx4 had to be replaced due to them drifting. Specifically the rear sight had a problem with moving. I do like the gx4 magazines better than the smith magazines. Mecgar is just hard to beat. They’re both great pistols. I would give the edge slightly to the smith but mainly because it’s been around since 2014 in one iteration or another. Hopefully Taurus will keep up its trend of improving the quality of their firearms.

There's multiple ways to get a 19 to be 45 size, but you can't get 45 down to 19 size

I shot sporter class with a 1710 anchutz bull barrel. I stayed in the high 240ties. I even shot a perfect 250 once. I also had a C.Z American and any given day it might out shoot my 1710. It was extremely accurate for what it was but it couldn't beat my 1710 very often.

I think the biggest and most important reason is they serialize the upper so you can interchange barrels withought buying a new “gun”

Oh Man, you did not show the installation of the bottom battery seal (rough side down). It is in the slot barely visible in the box. If you do not install it, and seal it with the "O" ring on the sight, it will NOT be waterproof at all. Like I said I own 2 of these. Great dots.

WTH? You weigh the sight for a pistol WITH the rifle mount? The weight of the sight and mount means NOTHING on an AR platform, the weight of the sight on my slide means EVERYTHING, from spring weights to compensator style. Next time please do both. Thank you in advance. PS I bought one in March and another in April. Great sight.

Armscor/RIA is very good for the price because it's what Filipinos use themselves in the Philippines. It's not some cheap budget pistol dreamed up by some faceless corporation. It's made with Filipino love and pride, that's why it's so good despite the price.

If you push down on top round while loading instead of pulling the assist down it loads perfect. Use the assist to assist. I have zero issues with glock mags and pro mags are finicky. Have to keep them clean and dry lube and they can function pretty well.

I wouldn't harp on the front sight quite so harshly. There are inexpensive options on the market, and Ruger's quick-change design means a guy can swap out the front sight in about one minute! Personally, I love a fiber optic front sight.

What's the point? It makes way more sense to use airsoft or 1:1 replica air guns that way you can actually rack the slide, practice magazine changes and weight is realer

Don't like how you field strip the Ruger Max 9, too easy to lose the take down pin. Other than that the only issue was trying to shoot Winchester USA Forged Ammo. The Ruger Max 9 didn't seem to like it.
