I like trains, mainly Melbourne Trains, and so I'm making videos about them.
My videos are recorded on my or friend's and family's phones, and edited in Microsoft Video Editor, unless otherwise specified.

Wasn’t the snack bar open on the train
VLocities do not have snack bars
From Melbourne to Brisbane
So you'll catch a train? Either way cool! Btw, you can reply to your own comment and create a sorta reply-chat-thingy instead of posting many seperate comments.
But I'm taking a flight to Brisbane
Ok makes sense
You can go Sydney? And September 2024 when I'm 8 I'll film Brisbane Trains
I went to Sydney, yes. Got a lot of footage in my holiday
What do mean by "holiday" You learn at school?
Average looking concrete 😂
What do you mean by that? Which concrete? Surely all concrete is average idk?
On Wednesday, I've caught a couple of X'Trapolis trains to Parliament house and back for a tour
A tour of what? What line did you d
*do?
@@Comeng17 Parliament. I went on Werribee and Sunbury lines.
@@jaidentslgl2753 so you toured parliament and went on an xtrap on the Werribee line
@@Comeng17 I also went on an EDI Comeng on the Sunbury line. When leaving the city, I went via the 86 tram and left from Southern Cross station on another xtrapolis
That train has something unique about it: it has indigenous art
Correct, I even made a note about that in the name: the X'Trapolis ART train.
@@Comeng17 Oh
Correction, it is not unique, there are 2 3-car sets, and they are currently split
Is that A66 in the background?
I believe so
It was residing at SCS that day, I imagine it is still there. A66 is still a V/Line "owned" (technically VicTrack owns it) locomotive after all
Sorry but 3 minutes in and I have to stop watching cos I feel like I am in a washing machine.. The camera needs to be kept fairly still on your travels or the footage ends up almost unwatchable like this. Commentary is quite good and informative though. 10/10 for effort.
Thanks for the advice. I'm getting a new phone soon which will hopefully make this better, I also sometimes use a tripod when filming trains, I have no idea if it has a positive or negative effect while walking though. I have heard this complaint before and I hope that I can resolve it in the near future. Try watching the time-lapse scenes as they are much less bumpy
@@Comeng17 It is not easy to get it all right and it does take a bit of practice. Using zoom funnctions on phones or lenses should be used only when absolutely necessary. When you use the zoom and do not have your device tripod mounted that multiplies the camera shake tenfold. You wont see it so much on a small screen like a phone but when you view it on PC its really shaky. Hope this all helps and good luck.
@NickFinan Thanks! I'll try to put this to use as I'm filming today. I'm going on the Steamrail Victoria Ringwood shuttles.
@@Comeng17 Good luck.
Thanks! Hopefully you're not sick after watching my video of that lol
damn why so shaky?
I'm not a professional photographer, and I wasn't using my tripod. I should make a playlist if videos where I use my tripod or something lol
yes lol
Good educational content. Might need to get a better mic though, its a bit buggy. Also music helps i think!
Good ideas, thanks! Yeah the mike is so buggy it makes me a robot, and maybe music, good points!
keep up the good work
Thanks!

Facts
East Pakenham station is open as of Today and the Pakenham line is still known as the Pakenham line and I doubt that the Victorian govt would change its name (there's no announcements about the name change). I'm saying this because as of next year the trains that go through the Metro Tunnel would travel from Sunbury to East Pakenham or Cranbourne and vice versa.
Yes. I never thought the name would change, think of the Geelong and Ballarat Lines
Hi,, can you see you uploaded a 203 pces videos, but your subscribers is only 117.what is it...if you continue this process you can not reach in your goal.Rather, when you seo in your videos and channel. Your channel growth organicall then you get more views, more traffic, more subscribers... Then, you reach on your goal.. And you will get monetization.
You already sent this?
@@Comeng17 are you interested organical grow in your channel
Sure, but that, by definition, is uncontrollable
@@Comeng17 please, include social media link in your description.
What social media?
Wow that’s big
It was really cool to see
Great video, could you please do one on East Pakenham line once East Pakenham station opens?
That's actually a plan. Although, it'll probably still be called the Pakenham Line (e.g. Geelong Line, Ballarat Line, Bendigo Line
@@Comeng17 I saw a video made by Stray Trains which that channel was where I found out that East Pakenham station was going to be open next month, where the channel's video was titled "Goodbye Pakenham Line".
That is correct, however Straya Trains is not PTV and there is no official confirmation that the name is changing that I'm aware of
@@Comeng17 Yeah, Straya Trains is a fellow KZreadr like you. Just found him on my feed. Still gonna watch your videos
You're allowed to watch other train channels lol! I'm only saying that while I trust Straya not to lie, I'm not saying that, I'm just saying that just because he thinks that the name will change doesn't mean the name will change. If his video actually has real confirmation, then I will happily accept defeat, but if not then we only have precedents, which lean both ways
Oh no 30 fps
Is it? I am limited to my phone's camera, but seeing as it films in 1080p, one would expect 60 fps
Cameraman = Michael J. Fox
What do you mean by that?
Very shaky
Yeah my phone sicks for filming. I did buy a tripod
What do you think of the Metro Tunnel that is set to be complete by 2025?
I prefer it over the Metro Tunnel that is set to complete by 2026. In all seriousness, I think it's a great idea, and so is the city loop reconfiguration
@@Comeng17 Just wish the Werribee and Williamstown lines went through City Loop during weekdays
You live on those lines?
Either way, that's never going to happen, just change at Footscray (or North Melbourne after the Metro Tunnel) for a Northern Group Train
@@Comeng17 Metro Tunnel would be faster than city loop because it would go directly through the city, not around it. Get off at Footscray if from Werribee or Williamstown lines on Metro and from Geelong, Ballarat, or Bendigo V/Line services. North Melbourne station won't be a part of the Metro Tunnel line (Sunbury to Cranbourne or Pakenham) but will go through Arden station which would be a new station in North Melbourne which hopefully would replace the awful South Kensington Station
Bayswater station is nice, Wouldn't recommend using the toilets though
Funnily enough, I tried but couldn't. They were both occupied for the whole time I was there.
@@Comeng17 where you just watching the toilets the whole time
No, I waited for a bit, and ending going to Eastland
Just for a toilet stop
2:05 - "Make sure to Top On and Off at ever stage of the journey"
What? It is so cheap that there is no excuse to not.
@@Comeng17 "at EVER stage of the journey"
Oh
Oops
Can't change it now!

Well said, me
Well explained, maybe this video should be sent to the Newport Railway Academy for them to watch a well explained video about the Railway Signals. No BS talk, just straight to the point!
Thanks!
I've got 2 more in the works for the special (by in the works I mean I have created a PowerPoint file and put 2 photos in it, so those vids might be a bit
Bro imagine if I went to the Newport Academy to work as a Signaller, and then they showed me my own video lol
Those sequel videos will also be able to be found here, on my second channel.

I will be out of service!??!!?! I assume you mean the train I'm named after, but worded like that, it sounds like a threat!!!
"You will be out of service soon" should one scared??!??!!!?

Location Please...?
Diamond Valley Railway, Eltham Lower Park
"at the Diamond Valley Railway" that's the location. Search it on Google.
You need to hold the phone still and not move it around so much. Very unpleasant to watch. Put me right off seeing all.
Thanks for the feedback! I have bought a tripod that I use in many of my videos, you might prefer those?

Where was this?
... North Geelong Station?
It's in the video title
@@Comeng17 My bad

What's the "😂"?
Cool, North Geelong is good!
I got trapped there for a while lol
Have you considered making a KZread video on one of the larger and more popular tube stations in London during peak such as Kings Cross St Pancras and Oxford Circus? They're so busy that they even have signs up saying to use alternative stations during peak
I... have... only left Australia once in my life. If I go to London, I'll have a look
@@Comeng17 The public transportation in London is so overwhelming. Start with National Rail. It's better than Tube anyways. The stations are more pretty but tube stations can still have some history (i.e. WW2)
I have never been to London, and likely won't go for at least a few years. I can't make a video without footage (or at least I don't)
My videos come from me filming an event that happens to me, or something I do. Since I have never went to London, I can't make any such video without stealing or at least using footage that someone else captured, which would be a first for me
@@Comeng17 Yeah, it's also expensive to stay in London. Scotland is much cheaper to stay at, especially in Stirling
The Comeng scared me
I should put a warning up: Top Since Scariest Jumpscares! Numero Uno

HCMT Art Train! Yessss
I know
I just released one of it at Flinders
Cool
Thx
Are those your favourites?
Dunno. They definately were when I first made the channel
Of the Metro Trains, yes though
I have started to take a liking to the EDi Comeng, but back when I made the channel I very much liked the Alstom variety. Comengs are my favourite Metro train.
@@Comeng17 What's your favourite Line train? Did you know that the Vlocity train had two different manufacturers. The Alstom Vlocity Vlines are the newer Vlines too
Probably the N-Class, and Bombardier was bought out by Alstom, that's not quite a new manufacturer.
I wish you made a video on the voice of Flinders Street station
The voice?
@@Comeng17 Laurence Hewson, google him
I'll see what I can do, but I can only make videos of footage I already have. So I'd have to obtain footage to make a video.
@@Comeng17 Time to ask the Flinders Street staff to find the Voice of Flinders Street Station if he's on a specific platform, then catch that random train that the guy makes a joke about. That way, your KZread views would gain so much views
Interesting idea
Which tram class and subclass was your favourite?
C2-Class/Citadis is my favourite subsclass, C-Class generally, I think
@@Comeng17 Which lines are they mostly found to be used for?
Only Route 96 for the C2-Class, 48 and 109 for the C-Class.
Great
Thanks
Sounds and looks so modern. Known these trams for years. Didn't know the name of them until now. Thanks m8
The Classes are W, Z, A, B, C, D and E. The W-Class are the City Circle Trams, the Z, A, and B-Classes are made by Comeng, the C-Class by Alstom, the D-Class by Siemens and the E-Class by Bombardier (now part of Alstom)
@@Comeng17 Cool. Is the Xtrapolis cheapey trains that are made in Ballarat owned by Alstom?
The X'Traps are made by Alstom, but owned by VicTrack, as are all Victorian Railways (including tram lines) and vehicles.
(Notably, the puffing billy is not owned by VicTrack, all other heratige railways are)
VicTrack leases the land and vehicles to PTV, which sub-leases them to Metro Trains Melbourne, Yarra Trams, V/Line and ARTC.
When do you reckon the last H-Set will be scrapped?
Well, one will be preserved, but the rest I imagine will be scrapped sometime soon. Don't know any more detail than that.
Didn't even know that they had been withdrawn from service until I was editting this video
@@Comeng17 According to Waking Up in Geelong, V/Line have retired the H sets on 2nd February 2024
@@Comeng17 That's for the Geelong line at least.
That is what I meant by withdrawn, they aren't in service anymore. But they haven't all been dismantled yet, at least I assume they haven't.
25 CARS OF HCMT???!?!?😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
That is the ID for the train, not the number of cars lol
Oh damn it it's a ID
I'm so dumb somtimes
How aboot 11
HCMT set 11?
Yes
I live in Clayton
Cool
I see Comeng at Clayton with HCMT
Is that a Comeng Test?
How would I know? I assume so
Yeah, now i see,its not electric,so it will be Diesel.Thats why it is so loud..
While that is correct, technically it could also be steam if it isn't electric lol
I tried to alter my editting style, who likes the inclusion of an intro and outro, and the fact it is less obvious I'm using Microsoft Video Editor (I decided to stick with it after all) Btw, yes I filmed vertically, I can't change that now though, can i?
Is this the noise in the trainstation?????
My phone's mic can suck, but it is pretty loud. Especially right next to the diesel trains
40 mins to go, that's less than the video's length!
