Thanks for the video and that bike is fantastic.😊
Thanks for the review. I have a question: Would you recommend this bike to a new rider? I am also not very skilled in terms of maintenance, with less knowledge 😅
Yep, definitely a good choice
Obiekt moich westchnień 😉. Classic 350 oczywiście!😀✋🏻
Ładny motorek, fajny do spokojnej jazdy po bocznych drogach, ale ciut za spokojnej 😎
I saw all the colour options in my local dealer and the grey option is to me the best. No brightly coloured stickers on the bike. The blue and green would be better off with out them. The dual colour one not keen on at all.
Haters hating cause they can't afford it 😛
Ok, you’re all smashed up now. Give us a break! 😹
don't worry, there is still plenty of smashing scenery out there ;)
I have a R9T Scrambler. How do you have those PIAA lights mounted?
with clamps on front forks. I don't know much about electrical connection though as I bought that bike with those
Your mate needs a BMW. ♥️🏍️💨🏁
funny fact is that he had beemer long time ago before me and he always loved them but I preferred v2 ;)
Interesting thoughts, thanks for sharing.
Hey man! do you think a hellmet would fit on this saddle bag?
Full face? Possibly not but close
i'm your social media follower and I like your work, usually the content I watch while drinking beer is always your videos and your shares and your content, I've watched every video 100 thousand times, but I have an important problem, I want to do a tour like you, but the map you use to show your tours looks like a very nice program, I'd appreciate it if you'd send me the map program I would be very happy if you could help me in the comments.

Unc’ I absolutely love ❤ the cheesy theme tune 😂 as for the RE 350, i know they aren’t super fast but I still think they are a great bike for the price
Ai is good in creating cheesy songs 🤪 and I love this Enfield, but I really wish it would have +10hp ;)
Who is the girl from thumbnail? 😂😂 Nice trip and bike 👌
😁 thanks mate
@@UncleLongbeard thanks to you! thanks to you I got sick of a W800. I ordered a new one and I am very happy with my choice. I saw all bikes before the purchase (plus your clips): boneville, royal enfield, honda, yamaha and bmw and of all these the W800 won in the classic, built build and feeling .
@@planb2334 yep, that is the most retro of them all. Also most reliable and most beautiful ;)
@@UncleLongbeard 🙏 simple as fuck ! I wish to buy w650 in the future( as second bike ) . Did you ride it ?
@@planb2334 no, just heard is similar, yet a bit more spirited due to no emission problems ;)
I’ve never seen one as bad, I suggest perhaps the owners care regime is to blame. Try cleaning it and polishing it etc. it’s not a car.
OMFG, read the first pinned comment before saying anything more.
have to agree, an extra 10bhp would be great. I got tired of waiting for a Classic 650 so until then, the 350 will have to do 😁
I am looking forward for the classic 650 as well. However I'm not in rush as still need to think if it's worth swapping the W
Neat song. Did you write the lyrics yourself?
No, it's just ai nonsense 🤪
C
Short and sweet! Are you going to do a test paddle in one of them canoes?🛶
That would be nice indeed 😎
It's has its purpose, and to some, thats all they need. Unless I am older and do not want a heavy bike, it looks perfect. But I own a couple bikes and enjoy what each one is made for. Thanks for brining us along.
Indeed. It's got a purpose and works well in that respect
I plan on trading in my versys 650 for one of these tomorrow and this pretty much sold me even more
You'll be happy with the change
@UncleLongbeard yeah it's worth it, got the pure because I knew I'd want to customize it
@@ethanloughlin9052 the smile factor on this bike is a bit different than on Versys ;) Pure is a brilliant custom base. Cheers
Those long boring empty roads look beautiful!!! Some great bikes too ❤
there is some coolness in it ;)
Nice bike , great tyres and your mods are really good. How do you like this bike and what model is it I really like it!
It is BMW Urban GS 2017. I really like it to be honest
You used narrow track trains when young? I thought you're like 35-40.
49 mate ;)
@@UncleLongbeard for some reason I always have had the impression, that narrow track was abandoned close to 100 years ago.
@@theodorstravels it was all built until late 50's I believe. But it was in use till the early 90's in Poland
@@UncleLongbeard That's fascinating actually. I always thought by the time I was born, all narrow tracks remaining were only for entertainment purposes. We still have some tracks around here, like few hundred meters, or so, with small old steam trains.
I enjoyed the video, good to see you back.
I'm back but not for long mate. On Saturday I'm riding my beemer to Poland...
LOL RIP BMW
Some lovely bikes there, good to see back making videos 👍🏻
I'm slowly getting back but this year will be a bit different for me certainly
Good to see you about and about Uncle Longbeard. Great looking roads for riding when the weather co-operates.
weather cooperates only when I'm not expecting anything ;) You will see me about more often I assume.
@@UncleLongbeard Certainly hope so mate.
enjoy this one off video. you get rain, like we do in South East Virginia, US. states 100 percent rain now, and then 20 min later it states 2 percent, so i leave and 10 min later i get soaked... good friends!
I don't mind being soaked if the temperature is that high that I will be dry in a few minutes :D
@@UncleLongbeard last time i got caught in a rain storm it was in a valley, an hour later i was in the mountains were it was 50 degrees and being soaked sucked. but it makes a story! i enjoyed yours.
@@BlakesPipes exactly, we don't memorize it usually when everything goes as planned. Very often we just remember the worst of it, which is brilliant ;)
Really leaning towards one for my first bike. Love the look. Seems fast enough for me as well
Beautiful bikes, thanks for sharing.
96 / 5 000 You passed through some beautiful places and did some driving before finding a place to sleep.
Magnificent mountainous landscapes
Brilliant place to be honest
A beautiful road and landscapes with lots of bikers. Top.
A beautiful motorcycle with the rapeseed fields in the background and what a beautiful place. Take care of yourself and your family.
Thank you, I will. Now I'm back in the UK but going again to Poland soon
The family now, i unserstand.
What a road trip, with rain and fog at the beginning, not easy to drive and a long return to England.
wouaouhhh it so beautiful, the road, the landscapes and the incredible zoom of the camera.
I've been considering buying this bike but I'd like a seat like the stock one of the Honda CB900C. I'm a fan of true classic bikes. I despise the cafe racer style, especially where the seat is concerned. Ugly has never been my thing. Because of this seat, I'm still considering a 1980's original bike.
Old bikes have much more comfortable seats.
I have w650 model 2000. Orginal seat is not good. I bought from Omega racer new seat. Its much better.
Have not been able to locate a W 800 in the Bay Area and Boise as well need help?
This isn't actually a fair test of the vibration dampening. If the phone is doing it's job really well, it will compensate for the vibrations to stabilize the video, making it look like the mount dampeners are doing their job. I'd like to see a test that just measures the vibration going into the mount and the vibrations at the phone mount end. I don't know how that's done and this video does shed some light on the subject. Personally, I mounted a dampening mount and a hard mount and just touched both while riding. I couldn't detect any difference in how they felt and therefore concluded that dampening mounts are a marketing gimmick. I suspect that somewhere around 80% dampening is required to be effective, not some indiscernible amount, but I'd like to have some actual hard data to back that up.
The phone has not doing any stabilization as the phone I used for the test has no stabilisation whatsoever. Therefore it is showing how many of those vibrations are getting to the phone. So in fact those dampeners are helping in a VERY limited way.
sounds good old.
Hi.... What about the rear drum brake? Is it a disadvantage?... Thanks
Since 2019 it's got a disc with abs. I prefer drum for the looks. It works absolutely fine
Thank you very much, I asked because I am thinking of buying a second-hand 2014 model with drum brakes. It is a good idea? Will it work well in 2024? My main question was the drum brakes...thanks.
@@RoyRam-ip4kx nothing wrong with rear drum brake. It works well, but you won't have an ABS
Hello, wonderful... I remember not having bought that motorbike, because it had a drum brake on the rear, at some point during your trip, did you notice this feature? Was it a disadvantage?... thank you
Test brake is no different than on my other bikes. The only problem with the drum brake is that it'll never have abs. But it'll never fail and you don't need to replace breaking fluid
Totally agree. Use a rugged phone. And have a spare. $80 extra a year for a burner phone sim. Dmd2 all the way!
what is that extra dial on the right?Great ride
I pack the poles to my tent and the fabric separately. I pack the fabric inside a small compression bag. It's surprising how much space you gain this way.
smashing!
