  She was in distress, She purged the BCD instead of inflating it, I don't know her experience, but when I see a diver on her situation, I tend to grab him/her to a safe spot, if she's new, that's ok, is understandable, but what Stress and Rescue Teach us, is that Stress compounds and sometimes evolves to Panic. Be safe and enjoy.

  @@2canucksthatlovetotravel Very good, if she was being monitored it's good to get used to depth and buyoancy, someone only grows if it is chalenged, diving always on the same place with the same rotine can be safe but as the other side to give a false sense of security in skills.

  ​@chamade166 you can have the dive shops train you for a few hrs in a pool and then take you out on a "FUN DIVE". I would 100% recommend getting at a minimum your OPEN WATER CERT b4 going out diving

  The snorkeling was done right from shore in Gili Islands just off the coast of Lombok!! You can see the giant sea turtles right at the beaches!! You are going to ❤️ Lombok

  No.... we were around on the north west side of the island that dive. You will love diving in Penida. Don't be afraid. The dive masters will only take you where it will be safe

  No. Beginners should not try drift diving. The dive masters will take you on a dive that is suited to your skill level.

  Hi there. The Royalton Splash has a number of restaurants and pools on site. If you upgrade to the Diamond Club (which I strongly recommend) than you can also use and access ALL of the additional restaurants at the Royalton main resort as well as getting private beach access!! There are LOTS of dining options between both resorts!

  This elephant Sanctuary treated these animals like gold. They were very well looked after and we did not witness anything that would be deemed unacceptable in 6 hours. We did our research. We had an opportunity to play with, feed, bathe and rub mud on these gentle giants. Not once did we feel they were being mistreated. Thanks for watching

  I just come back from rinjani 3day 2 night with shelter garut(guide).. it was my first moutain.. it was as you say grueling, mentally, physically challenging and unsafe all the way.. but it was THE experience of a lifetime.. after summit, we rest at base camp only for 1 hr and proceed on a 5 hr journey to lake danau.. the next morning, we proceeded on a 12hr trek to Torean.. my team expected the summit to be tough but we did not expect the post summit trekking to be that difficult. Now, that Im home, im looking forward to my next mountain..

  Thank you very much for watching and for your feedback!! Rinjani was grueling but sooooooooo worth it! It was our 1st REAL mountain trek and will not be our last either. We are now planning Kilimanjaro, Matchu Pichu and the Snowman Trek! The post summit trek was definitely the most difficult part of the 3D2N for sure. Happy hiking!

  You are going to LOVE Lombok and the Kuta area. We rented a scooter for a few days to visit Mawun Beach, Tanjung Aan Beach and our FAVOURITE Selong Belanak Beach!!   Hi there. Thanks for watching. You can definitely explore each Gili in about 1 day. Our fave was Gili Air. Less busy than Gili T but still great restaurants and bars and beaches!! Gili T is definitely for partying! Enjoy your holiday. You will love it there!!

  Thank you for coming to Indonesia and hiking Mount Rinjani. If you have the opportunity to hiking this mountain again, I suggest you go down the Torean route. The Torean route is famous among international hiker as the Jurassic park.

  depends how comfortable you are in the water, if you have been swimming/playing water sports all your life, the camera is not going to affect you much as everything else is already second nature. I would suggest you bring along the camera and if you feel overwhelmed then just focus on the dive instead. it doesn't hurt to bring along

  Thanks so much for the suggestions. Ends up I didn't bring GoPro because the instructor doesn't allow us to do that. But it's a correct decision because as a newbie I was busy equalizing and removing water from the mask, and also swim by holding my arms to the front, so my hands won't be free to hold a camera 😂

  Awesome I stayed in Lombok for a week in the Senggigi area a few years ago and did all the stuff in the video apart from hiking up to Mount Rinjani. I don't think the garbage issue was that bad when I was there but it has obviously got worse. I am planning to go to Lombok again next year so I am hoping that the government cleaned up their act by getting rid of the trash problems that has happened in Lombok and in Bali too in recent times.
