Its great only because the shots actually go where you aim, less WG rng gambling.
Last night in ranked we got a game with 4 DD in it.. no cruiser at all, only DD, CV and BB.. Being in a russian CV , (that still have more DD countering ability that FDR), was a real struggle. CV that only can farm fatties are not competitive, because in the end are the DD that win the games. Try FTR in ranked against competent DD and see how is not that powerful as you believe.
Im pretty sure he realises that against a competent dd that fdr sucks, but those are very rare.
@@HGJHan1000 Still in competetive you have to counter the DD, look at the top spectrum, (like Kots and recent International), some teams don't even bring a BB anymore in the lineup preferring only DD and radar CA. A CV like FDR that can only farm fatty BB, is not worth its expensive cost in steel.

A lot depends on the skill of the captain, regardless of the ship. A great ship with a poor captain will not perform.

hope they add more coal ships, but well, they seem to focus on making money now, and well, i don't think it's good for the long term player base, if this keeps happening, the ftp player base would go down, and well, if this number is big enough, it's going to make the ptp player base feel the decline in content and player, which well, probably cause some to leave, and with these people leaving, wg would definitely take more drastic measures to take the money from players, and well, a negative loop would form, wg, pls rethink, pls put the rhode island and karl johan in resource, i mean, just sell it for dabloons now and add it in for coal a few months later, at least it's better than none

This is the real problem of the game, selling tier 9 and 10 for money, gets to many bad players to top tier knowing nothing about the game, WG greed is going to be the doom of this game.
That's a bad take that you're parroting from someone else. Bad players make games MORE fun, not less fun. The better the players get, on average, the earlier you die every match because you're probably a pretty mediocre player. You want the idiots in premiums, trust me. It's why PUBG and Fortnite are so popular - it's totally random who is in every game and there are completely terrible people you can demolish all the time.

@@jgl2920 Those are some terrible stats lmao, especially for an ex cc and beta tester whose played for 9 years. I've played for 2 years and I have a 66% wr. The problem isn't the bad players at top tier, its the ability for bad players to get high in ranked, not randoms. Also theres the bot problem but that doesnt matter. Whats killing the game is bad updates and balance changes as well as too many fomo events
This is just a little mix up and good. I hate the gambling crates!! Either of these ships are excellent candidates for gambling crates but Wargaming has decided just to sell. I like it and will try to save up and fit them in my budget which also wants Maine. The free Wisconsin(I had WV44) was awesome and an impressive event. They are hot right now. Sub nerfs worked. Go fix cv’s(AA mini game plz). GREAT GAME.
What about subs ?
I will feature the Subs and Carriers in a separate video because they work somewhat abit different compared to these ship classes.
WG is not adding many steel and RP ships either... One or at most two in a year, which is not that different from coal ships. I think WG has more problems making the 3D models (due to the break up, not enough 3D program artists). The French tech tree line is delayed also. And when WG announced the line, they did not have all the models ready. Much later, we saw the models (I do not think all the models are ready even now, three weeks prior to release). Same with the upcomming Pan-AM BB's. Only three models, releasing in a few weeks and in ST - but not yet all models are shown.
The exchange event will end in 4 days, these ships are for the 4th of July, a few weeks later. You can get them only with real life money. This was the case in the first appearence of Rhode Island as well (doubloon random bundles). These ships are NOT coal ships, as it stated in the article you shown us in the video.
These are not Coal Ships but should have been a Coal Ships. The Coal Ships might never see the light of the day in my opinion, since they seems to take the route of Trade In Event based stuff to exchange your coal ship to technically get these new ships back. As stated in the video, these ships might get into the trade-in event in future as a speculation.

War Gaming is very easy to predict. They will always go for maximum real world money. So why give coal ships out for free when players will blow over $100 to buy gold for a ship?
US CA line is better than British CL line.

German BB line is an experience. great for tanking. Lutjens Capt is a must.imo the best Capt in the game. Lutjens on any ship makes grinding a Blast.
Rus cruiser line is easy to learn
Perfect timing on the video was about to start a DD grind but not sure which one.
For what it’s worth, I like to build Yamato with range mod which helps the vertical dispersion I believe, and I put AA skills on my captain, it’s amazing how many AA expert achievements you can get in this boat. You will be the focus of any CV on the other side.
Add in the 2-point AA skill and you get even more, along with faster-reloading repair/heal
I could be wrong, but doesn't Yamato have famously bad AA in wows? As a matter of fact I think that it historicly had bad AA too. .
makes me wonder how long WG will wait before she gets some nerfs. I have her but have not played her yet, been ill.

Play for free, dont buy anything, there are 150 free ships, and once in a while, u can get free premium ones and free doubloons!

No. It is not worth playing right now. Gameplay is at its worst right now. New things are always locked behind lootboxes and astronomical amounts of money. Other currencies lost relevance, the quality of the playerbase took a nose dive to the point it is nearly impossible to find someone above 48%WR in ranked.

30 to 40 Battles and then Tier 10? I doubt that. As a beginner, thats pretty much impossible. You neither make the Silver nor XP in that time, unless you buy premium, premium ships and have tons of max tier Boosters
