  I remember Spring Hill in the 1950’s. There was Stan’s Truck Stop, 2 red lights, and maybe 2,000 population. The Tennessee orphanage was also there.

  I have family who lives in Spring Hill TN In a few years we may move to Spring Hill. Right now we are in California and my son wants to finish high school here.

  Being that U.S. 31 (State Route 6) is not a City of Spring Hill municipal roadway, but rather a State highway, the City does not have the ability to unilaterally widen U.S. 31. The City of Spring Hill has been working closely with TDOT for many years to try to get the widening of U.S. 31 onto TDOT's capital project plans. The City is currently putting forward a great deal of City-taxpayer funds to pay for a federally required NEPA environmental study, and the City likely will fund the future design and engineering and right-of-way acquisition phases, in order to help try to convince TDOT to fund the widening of its roadway through Spring Hill.

  Use what's called a davit arm. Lean the boom down against the shell and rig it there. Release from the roller race at the bottom of the boom. Then use the load line and boom line to lift up and flip upside down over the edge and lower to the ground. Slide last roof sheet over and weld it up.

  A Davit arm is one method used for CET type water towers not too sure how that would work with the curved shell versus a tank shell. A different method most likely was used on this 1.5 MG spheroid.

  It's alright here, but I'm about to gtfo. I just feel like there really isn't a lot to do around here compared to bigger cities, but it's a nice enough place if you're looking for peace and quiet.

  I've lived in Memphis most my life and I'll trade you,lol!! I'm ready to move my family a little more peaceful and calm, and more rural. Big cities just aren't my thing,I always pictured living somewhere more scenic,maybe out more in the country,with more land and a fully stocked pond, white picket fence etc.
