I’d surprise the reason is none of them at all have put any work into making those IPs what they were. They just acquired them. With no hard work or effort. And they abuse them for easy money.

This exactly what I tried say in your last video about Divonavendumdum calling out the Commanders hood and no one else calling it out makes you wonder about how he really feels inside and now himself calling out racists comments to a fellow colleague. The dude screwed in the head. Not just 4” hiatus but the 12” too. Hasbro sucks! They had the chance to come out the winner for the GI Joe 60 Anniversary. Major disappointment and failure but classified guys don’t cry, I collect them too but everyone should have had their cake and eat it too. Thanks for the great content. Hey Chad! just saw your car rant, it looked very good to be. I knew about the director of you were talking about that did Creed. This upcoming director is very good with the right script. I think DiBonaventura is showing his real colors, I am not 100% but if he acted like that toward an ethnic director. I feel he sounds racists to me. I could be wrong but sounds like he don't like the word NO! I don't think this GiJoe/Transformers movie will ever get made. Hasbro get a clue and get JJ Abrams to direct your movie, he alot better director then DIBonaventura. Even John Carpenter would be a good director to do something with Gi Joe/Transformer movie. My guess is DiBonaventura needs Caple because the latter made Transformers that's been mostly recieved well by fans. The racially tinged pejoratives seem to always come from the people who are afraid of what they perceive to be "bad optics". Lorenzo needs to just piss right off. He's even admitted that he doesn't understand why fans love the '86 Transformers movie so much. How the hell are you going to make Transformers movies and be like "Why do fans even like that movie? It's so dark." It reminds me of that moment in Citizen Kane, when Kane's wife says to him "But the people will think..." and Kane responds with "What I tell them to think." That seems to be the kind of arrogant mentality DiBonaventura has.

Hasbro loves this guy because he makes them money, when things like the awful snake eyes movie doesn’t make them money his influence will wane, unfortunately the transformers movie money still rolls in but no Joe movies is a better option than any of the three live action ones they have made so far 🤦♂️ Marvel had a movie rights issue for a long time, we suffered through some awful fantastic 4 movies for example. You try to work around that stuff and get out of it like marvel did, you don’t lean into it trying to make a quick buck……. Unless you are hasbro I guess 🤦♂️
Him ‘making them money’ is iffy all around. Sure Hasbro just sees the checks, but the diminishing returns from all the TF & JOE films, the total flop of Snake Eyes, and the general bullsh!t-ery of DBV are all a joke.

Lmao now if anyone was racist it might have been Hasbro executives because back in the day not one GIJoe vehicle came with an African American. Doc never got a Huey or 1950s mash ambulance and the only figure that did come with a vehicle was heavy duty in 1998 that was stealers tank but a camouflage version. So I would have to say that Hasbro executives must have been racist to not include an African American in the early years of GIJoe with his own vehicle even though Larry Hama is Japanese decent it might have been up to him to make doc a vehicle or it might have been up to the executives what did get made for the GIJoe line. Other than that the GIJoe line was diverse from the start. Again awesome rant

The Van Damme Street Fighter movie from the 90's was a better G.I.Joe movie and for a more realistic G.I.Joe I'd recommend The Delta Force with Chuck Norris.

I needed a good car rant today! If you feel an instant need to Virtue Signal a character through its own movie, it’s not the movie you should be doing. You’re attacking the Character on a personal vendetta at that point. It has never worked out for the producers. So why can’t they get that point! It’s been about 10 years of “woke” shenanigans and they still bite that Hook every damn time! A hood on a Villian toy is way less offensive than seeing fingers In the ears of the misfit shot callers! I agree 100% with you Chad. It's what I hate about these modern quote-unquote creatives. It's the fact that they always change everything about the character. They changed the race they change the gender they change the personality, but they expect us to come back and continue to watch simply because they have the costume. None of them understand that the look is the hook. The look of a character is what initially draws people into a property. This is why superheroes tend to have bright colorful costumes. It's to catch people's eyes. The reason people are initially interested in a character like Snake Eyes is oh hey look at that cool mask he's wearing hey he's all in black and has a ninja sword. Then as they watch it they find out about the character and finding out the character's motivations, their personality, how they interact with other people in the world around them. That's what makes them fan favorite characters. If you change everything about the character except the clothes they're wearing then they cease to be that character fat asian Harley Quinn is not Harley Quinn. Just like motor mouth Cry-Baby Henry Golding is not snake eyes. Is there just people whom happened to want to cosplay as those characters that day.

I saw the first gijoe movie. Meh. I've skipped the rest. Barely seen any of the transformer movies. In a comic book the crossover would work (even spiderman showed up in transformers), but I can't see a creatively bankrupt Hollywood making this good. And good for the director leaving this project. Wait....do we need a sequel to I am legend?
Retaliation isn’t as bad as ROC and nowhere near the Batman & Robin levels of horrible of Snake Eyes. However, I’d argue there’s hundreds of JOE fans who could write anything better than any of them in about a week. And I didn’t think we needed an I Am Legend 2, no…but that’s happening.
I doubt we will ever see a gijoe or transformers movie like we had as kids. Although that new animated transformers movie has my curiosity.

I said it on a video last week, maybe it was yours... The dude might possibly have a problem with cobra commander because he's a bumbling, constantly failing villain, that D' thinks Is somehow a poor representation of a club he's affiliated with. It's one of those classic smokescreen scenarios. D is a morally fucked dude, so he has to over react to everything that might represent his fuckedness, because that somehow shows he's not so fucked. A "hiding in plain sight" kind of thing. And you know it wasn't just him at a round table one day, that convinced everybody around him that the hood should go. He was probably a whiny bitch about it for weeks before the concept finally stuck.
