    Great amps right? Check this one out. This was a JTM kit Bruce was getting from Mojo w his own turret design, of course. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qpaqkptqgbrFeKQ.html Since 2008 I have had three of them. Kept my original one, retubed w Shuguang EL34-Bs/Sovtek 12AX7s

    Did you choose the 2nd channel because it was thinner? It's noticably thinner on mine. I like the 0r120 on fac 1 or 2 so this is great!

    Thanks for this video man! Man thats an ol' girthy, almost like a chainsaw-esque gain sound. I love it indeed! canot imagine how nice it would be to be able to hear this in person. I guess the walls might be shakin' (especially in USA) when this monster's power-tube gets tickeled enough :) Is the sound with or without the listed effects? (Black Arts Toneworks WitchBurner etc) I gues its with effects(?), as otherwise I could not believe how good this mod works! I'm wondering if there are also some nice other mods for an orange rocker-verb MK3? - Just bought my first (new) amp some months ago. (Rockerverb MK3) With this I'm somewhat new into the tube-amp cosmos. Was the best descision ever, especially now, after I understand how to really dial in an tube amp, also how to handle effects now (more a booster than distr/od). Take care and thanks again!

  • @Johnny_Eggz
    @Johnny_Eggz3 ай бұрын

    It’s with the WitchBurner on. With it off, it has more of an OR120 type of overdrive. The pedal kicks it into the more modern realm. I usually gig with Rockerverbs, my favorite amp basically, I don’t even use a pedal with it, just crank it and go. Thanks ya!

    I used to own a 1979 Marshall JMP 50 watt 2 x12 combo with Black back Celestion's that I wished a million times I never sold; the sounds you are getting here remind me of that amp. I now have a Marshall 100-watt master lead also running 6550's but it doesn't sound as good to me. I think 50 watt is the sweet spot on Marshalls. I also have a DSL 40 and I can coax some good sounds out of it as well. You have a great sounding amp don't be a bonehead like me and sell it.......and then spend years wishing you hadn't.
