I cant like this phone and i used to love the z fold line. I switched to the s23 ultra when the fold 4 came out because i always had an accident with my fold and samsung care didn't make things simple. After using the s23 ultra i cant get use to the small outside screen on the z fold 6 and short battery life . Plus to wear out the crease because i would always have to open the fold just to enjoy it makes me feel forced to just do what i dont always wanna do. I like the feel and weight of the s23 or 24 ultra and when i think of 7 years software and security updates the s line seem more promising and less damaging over time. Samsung didn't give us what we wanted in the z fold 6 so i gotta send it back. Software will soon be on the s 24 ultra. But im happy with the new watch and earbuds pro.

@yela57 if that's the case, you should've gotten a clear case w/s-pen holder to show off the carbon fiber texture. I got the navy phone & case and now I'm gonna get either the yellow or black s-pen or maybe both to switch out different colors.

@bbrunoliveira I bought mine used from a friend that bought it new. He did replace the screen protector for the interior screen. Mic seems low when not using Bluetooth or speaker phone physically the phone is fine. I do miss ultra cameras.

Currently have the ZF4 and have the ZF6 ordered. I figure I got 15 days to mess with it and if I don't think it's a big enough upgrade then I'll return it and keep the ZF4. To be honest I wasn't that impressed but maybe I'll change my mind when I get it in my hands. Plus getting $1,000 as trade-in for my ZF4 was another factor. No way I'm getting anywhere close to that if I sell it myself. If I end up not liking the ZF6 and send it back then I'll wait and see what the OnePlus Open 2 brings.
I’m holding of from finally wanting to leave Apple after 13 years… but this upgrade seems shiet.. I’m assuming the ultra that might come out later this year or fold 7 will be a big change.. hopefully, especially when the Chinese market have better innovations when it comes to the crease etc

This is why I'm holding an s24 ultrafor Ultra about to turn in my fold four I felt like the five was a ripoff and besides the chip nothing about this generation really intrigues me it's still a foldable it's still going to be big in your hand it's still a small outer screen display that still don't do the same s*** that I want it the main thing I would want this for is productivity with an S Pen and no I don't want to f****** care on a big ass pin or the smaller version without Bluetooth mind you when you have this teeny one in the s24 ultra that is Bluetooth they're not giving a s*** they're trying to sell this tiny by tiny by tiny things every year for the price of a car I'm going to have to wait man till the gas pin in the battery is bigger I don't give a f*** about it being lighter or heavier I just want to folding tablet with those things and I've seen a lot of people saying the same s*** bigger battery S Pen built in until then I don't think I could f*** with it and I've had all the folds up to the number four and I'm sending the four in right now I just can't do it anymore they're not giving us what we need for more than an s24 Ultra like why would I pay more for Less

The fold 6 is a year newer. Not much they can do. The camera is gonna be better. But its software. The battery is a little meh, but the fold 6 is better than the fold 5. Not by much but it is better. I dont think you'll get huge upgrades year by year. Yall want them to make something brand new. That can cause issues. Evolution takes time.

I was waiting for this new ZF6 since buying the S24 Ultra - which I had planned to trade in. The Unpacked event led to great disappointment for me when I saw (for all intents and purposes) the three year old camera hardware carried forward from the ZF4 era to now. There was no S-Pen improvement, no substantial upgrade of any kind in the hardware. Instead they want me to buy in on AI being as important or more than good hardware. That's great if you like to draw stick figures and have the AI convert it to a cartoon but not for practical usage. Most of that AI crap will be given to the ZF5 anyway. In spite of all that, I began the pre-order and entered my trade info. What Samsung was offering after all the pre-order perks and including my military discount was a new ZF6 512gb for $864 on top of my S24 Ultra trade-in. You have to remember, the S24U was not cheap and I just bought it a few months age. That's when I decided to give up on a Zfold6. Right now I can buy a nearly new Oneplus open for around $900 or I could buy a used ZF5 for under $800 and in both cases keep my S24 Ultra too. It's a no-brainer. Although I doubt they'll miss me or my money, I am now beginning the mental process of finally weaning off the Samsung ecosystem (I have the Earbuds and Watch 6 and a Galaxy Tablet as well). I am thoroughly disenfranchised after this non-experience with Samsung and look forward to spitting out the Kool-Aid. There are other alternatives worth considering.

My Samsung Z Fold 4 outer display became unresponsive. Eventually, my inner display started going pitch black and is now not displaying anything. I was hoping to trade it in for something towards the Fold 5 or Fold 6, but Samsung no longer has the option to trade it in. I got a refurbished S23 Ultra, and now I'm going to wait another 4 years. Hopefully Vivo X Fold Pros are still the best foldables because Im never getting another Samsung foldable.

Fold 6 Camera is still basic with all the recent leak thats been coming out. I wouldn't upgrade until they upgrade the camera similar to Ultra. Waste of money. Save your money.

With the reports that the z fold 6 is going to be an extra hundred bucks, I was thinking that you could buy two of these for less than half that. And it's basically identical from a feature perspective. Not that you need two .. But people will say oh well. What about the warranty? Well theoretically, you can just replace the device for about the same price as your supplemental insurance and deductible would cost for the z fold 6. 😊

At least offer a slim Bluetooth s pen that can be used on both screens, better battery life and less of a crease. I really want the spen to be housed in the phone but seems like the leaks show it's not happening.

I’m going to keep my M4, but I’m coming from a 2015 9.7 iPad Pro and was due for an upgrade anyway. I don’t really think I need it per se, but I love the bigger screen and think the OLED looks great. It’s my only “computer” for personal use and I do use it everyday for hours. That being said, I probably should have done what you did and I still would have been happy and had a few hundred bucks left over. Great video!

And IM happy that I got the Air M2 tbh I got the 256gb one for like 750 bucks on release (got a great deal) and yes it doesnt have 120Hz which is the only thing WHY i would opt for the Pro at this point.. but as you said especially the M2 iPads.. man these will last us some time also for gaming they have a great boost to M1 and doesnt are as much off to M4 than they are better from M1. So Im more than happy and can reuse my green Air 4 Smart Folio aswell which is another nice bonus.

The 11 inch m4 is the way to go. I upgraded my m2 and am very happy. I did not buy the keyboard, I have a MacBook Pro already for typing, and a Mac studio if I want to type. The pens new functionality is really satisfying to use. The new logic and Final Cut Pro utilize the m4 chip - if you’re into those apps.

@@yela57 it’s not a need for me; it’s really for fun. It’s also the best on planes in my opinion (traveling with it right now), my MacBook Pro is too bulky for the plan at times. So for traveling, the 11inch is great. I also wanted to get some trade in value back before it’s gone, I was able to put $410 towards the 11inch from my m2 trade in. The 11inch is way more affordable than the 13. And you get all the new functionality. So I pay like 50$ a month for financing for a year. Which is no problem for me.

Yeah I'm really disappointed the way the handle the stylus situation. Even absent that, just iPad OS is such that. I think most people would be better off buying an older version if that's what they need. I know it's a contrarian take but I actually prefer the Galaxy tabs, the Lenovo tabs or whatever because at least those support side loading and f droid, and revanced etc... I guess there are some issues where if you need some specific apps that aren't optimized well on Android, that's a non-starter or some people. But for me the lack of side loading and a proper file manager is my biggest beef with iPad OS. If I could at least use the third party browser with desktop extensions ublock, sponsorblock ... I can make up for its lack of professional features

Hi, I came back to ask you if you have the same issue I'm experiencing. Blacks look gray in bright environments, so it only looks like an OLED in pitch black. I'm so disappointed. Perhaps you were right; Samsung displays are still superior. I had the same model you have 11" And I believe the issue is due to the horrible display coating that just killed the beauty of the display. Now I appreciate the one on the s24U way more.

I can't say that I have the same issue that you speak of but I have heard others have had issues with their displays. My display looks normal but it doesn't look as rich as the Galaxy tab AMOLED displays. Hopefully we don't have "display-gate".

I tried to go from a 12.9 (2022) pro to the 2024 air and had a fit 😅. Needless to say I returned the air and stuck with 12.9. It’s heavy for me so I wanted more portable and I was thinking about 11in pro from this year but I’m not sure if it’s worth it, the bezels piss me off some lol

The screen is too fragile for my uses, besides samsung is notorious for slow updates. I don’t want to buy an expensive product to only use it for 1 or 2 years. My mothers is still using her iphone xs max from who knows what year. Not to mention her ipad 6th generation. The value of that thing is milked dried af. I personally don’t mind switching to samsung since i switch phone almost annually however then nothing will work together. This is not only on apple, samsung is as much of a problem as well. Their fridges will only work with their phones if you want to use the casting function, not that i would ever want to use that considering a full size tv within line of sight. Last but not least i am tired of having to wipe the phones for anyone who have problems with installing everything and anything they are advertised to only to find out that is a spyware. With ios i haven’t had this trouble yet, but not sure how European thing is going to play into all this. Hopefully android will start making a better walled garden than apple so that i can consider jumping out of the one i am in.

@@fragerhoskin3528 interesting. I don’t believe I have encouraged anyone to upgrade to soon. A lot of my videos have been the opposite. I agree that most should not upgrade every year. Others just like the latest and greatest. We all have a vice.
Honestly now that people are starting to get the specs for the z-fold 6, you see this one on the resale market for under $500. Someone looking to try affordable for the first time My actually ponder that instead of losing an arm and a leg.

I think the keyboard takes away from the iPad. It’s so heavy and turns the iPad into something where you need to place on a desk. No, just hold it and consume media…
@@1nvd the keyboard is a gift and a curse. I got by for years just using a folio case but the keyboard does add functionality. Too bad it also makes the device top heavy on your lap.

With the reports that the z fold 6 is going to be an extra hundred bucks, I was thinking that you could buy two of these for less than half that. And it's basically identical from a feature perspective. Not that you need two .. But people will say oh well. What about the warranty? Well theoretically, you can just replace the device for about the same price as your supplemental insurance and deductible would cost for the z fold 6. 😊

At least offer a slim Bluetooth s pen that can be used on both screens, better battery life and less of a crease. I really want the spen to be housed in the phone but seems like the leaks show it's not happening.
I’m going to keep my M4, but I’m coming from a 2015 9.7 iPad Pro and was due for an upgrade anyway. I don’t really think I need it per se, but I love the bigger screen and think the OLED looks great. It’s my only “computer” for personal use and I do use it everyday for hours. That being said, I probably should have done what you did and I still would have been happy and had a few hundred bucks left over. Great video!
The M4 is nice!!! That is a huge upgrade coming from the 9.7
And IM happy that I got the Air M2 tbh I got the 256gb one for like 750 bucks on release (got a great deal) and yes it doesnt have 120Hz which is the only thing WHY i would opt for the Pro at this point.. but as you said especially the M2 iPads.. man these will last us some time also for gaming they have a great boost to M1 and doesnt are as much off to M4 than they are better from M1. So Im more than happy and can reuse my green Air 4 Smart Folio aswell which is another nice bonus.

Here’s why: you’re not in the creative field like design and photography. People buying an M4 iPad have disposable income and try to justify the upgrade but their skills don’t align with the M4 iPad’s capabilities. Like Steve Jobs said, iPad is between an iPhone and a Mac.
The 11 inch m4 is the way to go. I upgraded my m2 and am very happy. I did not buy the keyboard, I have a MacBook Pro already for typing, and a Mac studio if I want to type. The pens new functionality is really satisfying to use. The new logic and Final Cut Pro utilize the m4 chip - if you’re into those apps.

@@yela57 it’s not a need for me; it’s really for fun. It’s also the best on planes in my opinion (traveling with it right now), my MacBook Pro is too bulky for the plan at times. So for traveling, the 11inch is great. I also wanted to get some trade in value back before it’s gone, I was able to put $410 towards the 11inch from my m2 trade in. The 11inch is way more affordable than the 13. And you get all the new functionality. So I pay like 50$ a month for financing for a year. Which is no problem for me.

Yeah I'm really disappointed the way the handle the stylus situation. Even absent that, just iPad OS is such that. I think most people would be better off buying an older version if that's what they need. I know it's a contrarian take but I actually prefer the Galaxy tabs, the Lenovo tabs or whatever because at least those support side loading and f droid, and revanced etc... I guess there are some issues where if you need some specific apps that aren't optimized well on Android, that's a non-starter or some people. But for me the lack of side loading and a proper file manager is my biggest beef with iPad OS. If I could at least use the third party browser with desktop extensions ublock, sponsorblock ... I can make up for its lack of professional features
I love android tabs. Just wish they had better graphics capabilities for gaming and stuff. The apple silicon is dumb powerful
Hi, I came back to ask you if you have the same issue I'm experiencing. Blacks look gray in bright environments, so it only looks like an OLED in pitch black. I'm so disappointed. Perhaps you were right; Samsung displays are still superior. I had the same model you have 11" And I believe the issue is due to the horrible display coating that just killed the beauty of the display. Now I appreciate the one on the s24U way more.
I can't say that I have the same issue that you speak of but I have heard others have had issues with their displays. My display looks normal but it doesn't look as rich as the Galaxy tab AMOLED displays. Hopefully we don't have "display-gate".

@@hishamonepackage7067 I have had several Samsung tablets over the years with OLED screens and to me, those displays are better. I enjoy the punchier colors.
I tried to go from a 12.9 (2022) pro to the 2024 air and had a fit 😅. Needless to say I returned the air and stuck with 12.9. It’s heavy for me so I wanted more portable and I was thinking about 11in pro from this year but I’m not sure if it’s worth it, the bezels piss me off some lol

The screen is too fragile for my uses, besides samsung is notorious for slow updates. I don’t want to buy an expensive product to only use it for 1 or 2 years. My mothers is still using her iphone xs max from who knows what year. Not to mention her ipad 6th generation. The value of that thing is milked dried af. I personally don’t mind switching to samsung since i switch phone almost annually however then nothing will work together. This is not only on apple, samsung is as much of a problem as well. Their fridges will only work with their phones if you want to use the casting function, not that i would ever want to use that considering a full size tv within line of sight. Last but not least i am tired of having to wipe the phones for anyone who have problems with installing everything and anything they are advertised to only to find out that is a spyware. With ios i haven’t had this trouble yet, but not sure how European thing is going to play into all this. Hopefully android will start making a better walled garden than apple so that i can consider jumping out of the one i am in.
