@@9lettere668 Simple. One row of the SQ-1 is controlling filter cutoff on the Brute. The other row is split and sent to both the saw and sub input. Pitch sequence is from the Brute.
Loving this
Shame i can only like it once.
Nice
is the vcf wasp? sounds familiar 😅😂

Great video, thank you. From your experience, do you know if you can create an LFO (WAVE Pedal) where you modify the rate of the LFO ? I'm looking to create the direct level (tremolo style) but be able to change the rate and depth with a pedal.
Love this.
nice ambient breakbeat at the end!)
Really cool!
As someone that has recently invested in a Digitakt along with a few different hardware samplers with the intention of making jungle, I thank you for this video!
fuck 👏those👏people👏glad you made it thru man. BIG fan of your style, and also went thru an NDE, crazy shit, no??
I love this series, what did you stop doing? That synth sounds amazing, doesn't it? Keep it up man!
There’s some really nice acid sounds in the Monologue
nice very nice detail love it
Beautiful!
Beautiful sound. Very eerie and melancholy too. Thanks for sharing
Flohr your work talks more than your speech The best justification I heard to the Amen track was way back then and many missed you. Talent should be portrayed like you do it on stage and studio. As an Artist it’s better to be criticised than ignored and even if it’s negative they’re still discussing you. 🤪🤪 Your results show and that’s important Ignore the insults as it only affects them You’re made of much more friend. The best way to retaliate is get better which you’re good at Cheers 🥂 Let the music play !!!
Flohr This video just floored a lot of Digitakters 🤪🤪 👌👌👌
I learned a shitload from this, thank you.
Such a meaty sound! Thank you
This reminds me of a high-res version of some of the Leviathan records, Specifically Lurker of Chalice, and quite a bit off of "Massive Conspiracy Against all Life." You bring it more electronic, but a wonderfully dark vibe with this, <3 <3 <3
Thanks for listening and the kind words. I have never heard of them but I have a background in experimental metal, post-hardcore, industrial etc so there are likely shared influences. I’ll check them out!
@@Flohr Lurker of Chalice is hard to find, so if you want I can arrange for you to get a copy.
Doo dee boop dee... yeah some interesting sample chopping... nice but kinda WTF is that @13:00!!!! OMFG AND 16:30 THOUGH!!!!!! WHAT!!!!!?? (I skipped work during the last half of this vid......)
the method around 10:09 reminds me of the intro to Beep Street by Squarepusher,,, really dang cool. ty for sharing this info, super inspiring 🙏
this is incredible mate
Those delays sound nice. Lots of movement and grit.
Dope little jam.
Woah…Thanks for sharing your knowledge! The jam at the end was way sick also!
Very nice! I'm going to try my new Monologue with my Volca Keys now I think. The Minilogue sounds great. ☺
The minilogue has this very perticular sound to it, you could probobly be able to tell it apart from a crowd of other synths. I read somewhere on a forum that it's because of it's filter being desingned for polyphony, therefore blocking a lot of low-end
I am going to have to watch this a few times to wrap my head around the process. I have a Digitakt and have only had the time to mess with it a handful of times. I need to get it out more and experiment with it when I can find a window of opportunity.
Is it cough drops or just hard candy?
What in gods name is wrong with your mouth? Are you a flamer???
How do you have the Minilogue and SQ-1 patched together since the Minilogue is not semi-modular?
beautiful patch. will be replicating this
Damn this is awesome!
The Microbrute is awesome
this is a great video which clearly demonstrates the capabilities of this box. If you own one of these and you are suffering from GAS then watch this video because this thing seems to have much of what the average player needs. Thanks for the content.
For adequate dudes your channel is super awesome. Btw - we are still waiting part 2 for digitakt series 😊. No rush, we just know that here we can find a lot of goodness
Does minilogue and keystep have same key size?
Awesome thanks dude. Really practical and helpful and explained so well.
*_* would you mind sharing tips on the patch? Is this only Sheeps and Warps? What were you using as modulations?
Sorry it was 6 years ago so I’m not exactly sure. I think both outputs of Sheep are going into the audio inputs of Warps. I’m using either a sequencer or a s/h to modulate the big knob (hence the rhythmic stepped color changes). Sounds like slow modulation on the wavetable morph probably Maths or an LFO.
upon closer inspection only input 2 is patched into warps so I am likely only taking one output from Sheep and then using the internal oscillator on Warps
Would love to hear another version of this with the delay turned all the way down. Those lower octaves on the Volca with the higher ones on the minilogue… 😚👌
Do you know if the model samples can do what you've demonstrated?
I haven't used one. I would recommend looking up an article that compares the differences between the two devices. The main thing you are missing is the ability to sample and resample directly on the device which is part of what I do in this video. Also, from what I understand the screen is much more simple and doesn't really give you waveform display for assigning start points of samples. That said, you can probably do lots of fun breakbeat stuff on it you would just have to prep your samples ahead of time, either in a DAW or on a more powerful sampler.
Wow the Four Tet type sounds and the pads from an amen break is super creative. Really enjoyed this.
Not sure why it took this long for the yt recommender alg to suggest this one to me. I can't wait to try these tips/tricks/ideas/recipes out on my own. Thank you!
You should be able to do this with the Monologue right?
The fundamentals are the same but you won’t be able to do the unison detune part because the monologue has only one voice. It should still sound really good and honestly possible better because of the drive and different filter. Two ways of getting the same unison effect: using a chorus pedal or plug-in, or multitracking and detuning and panning each layer a little differently. Have fun!
That was awesome. A double of absolute gems in there, “I know some shit” & “you can go fuck yourself”. The best!
Is this available for DL anywhere? love this vibe
Thank you! It isn't but I have considered doing a Bandcamp release of bunch of these old KZread jams. I'll drop a link here if I end up doing that.
@@Flohr hell yeah!!
yesssss
Sounds great when finished that bass sound. I've the Minilogue being delivered in next few days so am cramming on the tutorials. This was well handy. Thank you
