Diamondback Toolbelts

Diamondback Toolbelts

Diamondback Toolbelts are premium tool belts products built with comfort, durability and organization for every Tradesperson.

HISTORY
Diamondback Toolbelts was founded in San Francisco in 1992 by the late Master Carpenter Jim Skelton. After hurting his back on the job, Jim was eager to get back to work. He was unable to use his old gear, so Jim searched for a tool belt he could wear to reduce his pain. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find one. So as any master carpenter would, he built his own. The first official Diamondback rig was born.

TODAY
Diamondback is taking trade gear to the next level. We design and manufacture innovative, ergonomic products for the trade industry. Our relentless support of high quality manufacturing has earned us a loyal and growing customer base, and we are proud to continue to support and contribute to the trades. Diamondback is headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia with a distributed team throughout the United States.

Best belt I have ever worn. Granted I have been wearing 30 dollar CLC belts forever.....however this thing is super nice and fits perfect.

Super satisfied with my Niko purchase. I also recently got the Tempo belt which is really nice. In the past year I also bought a lot Atlas 46 stuff but it seems a bit heavier than Diamondback stuff and in the summertime that just means I'm hotter. I'm really satisfied with all of the Diamondback stuff including the Ox and the Flux. Great stuff. Thanks for making these videos so I can understand what I'm purchasing.

How convenient. That same strap just ripped off my diamondback after about 2/3 years of usage. Considering getting a tempo belt unless I find a better one

Just got my first Diamondback belt this week. This new belt looks amazing. Would love to have this one, but I couldn't pass up the discount on the 6" older version. I am very impressed by the quality. It looks and feels amazing! Im using toughbuilt cliptech pouches on it right now, but would like to get Diamondback pouches for it. This belt has me stoked and now I'm nerding out on the different setups. Im just a homeowner doing a lot of remodeling, so I'm trying to figure out what pouches would do well with the variety of projects Im working on. Anyway, awesome products! Can't wait to get my hands on more Diamondback stuff.

That’s right. The framer starts the job with setting a form square and level. Every other trade falls in after that. After the concrete is finished, the framer frames the walls. All other trades fall in after that. Takes a framer to do his part before anyone else has a job.

The framer can't do shit without a 120 volt GFCI receptacle to plug his compressor into. Oh, you have battery operated nailers? Those have to be charged by alternating current too.

I've tried both. The pant belt and the tool belt. Both slip through out the day. Which is very disappointing considering this is supposed to be a premium belt. I must say I have had better luck with the Tempo belt. That belt I am very happy with.

Not using the Cobra buckle any more and designed your own version? I like the quick adjust, it is similar to buckles on a backpack, you constantly adjust those during a long walk, it is nice to have that during a days work. Any chance these are coming to the Netherlands? I noticed Gereedschappro, the Dutch dealer not having everything on stock. I would like to go there and check everthing out before biting the bullit on something.

It would be nice to see a main electrical pouch sized between the Niko and Mini Niko, without so many external loops for drivers. Just a personal preference though.

Besides the Niko and Mini Niko and Flux, does anybody use the Miter or another DB bag as a main electrical tool pouch? I dont like the design or layout of the Niko at all.

I’m sure it does. The way they fit to the belts it won’t matter what width belt is being used. I bought my bags in 1998… still use them to this day.

Is the belt itself machine washable or just take it out back with the garden hose? It could probably use one after 7 years.

Just bought these on Friday. Having issues with the quick releases for the yolk coming undone when I take my rig off to hang it up by the D ring. If it doesn't happen when I'm holding it by the suspenders it will happen hanging in the back of the van on the way to the next job without fail. Any suggestions? I feel like I'm getting a ton of unnecessary wear and tear on the parts involved if I'm doing this 5-10x/day. Super comfy otherwise though. Dig the slippery material on the inside of them. Keeps them from getting caught on my shoulders and pulling my belt weird ways when I go down and up.

These videos explain well what is lacking on the website, in terms of what can attach where, and how. Seems some items are belt only, or vest only, but difficult to ascertain which/what/how.
