  Thank you! I lived in Richmond 1984 - 2014 and walked those streets many times. That long walk down Gipps St towards my house (in the last half of the video) reminded me of my beautiful, now departed doggie - for some reason I can still clearly identify every single one of her favourite grassy spots for leaving her deposits. Ah, nostalgia!

  25:37 gotta be the greatest COLES building in Australia. Sadly the entire building above the Coles has been vacant ( but safely untouched ) since the 1960s !!, directly opposite is the very neglected rebel sport building and next to that is the fabulous ( recently restored ) JB HI FI building. And I'd love to know if there is anything interesting behind that boring Dan Murphy's facade 26:48.

  Thanks for this walk. Most people like myself see the south end of the suburb and not generally go further north. I visited by train and went to the main shops and Gem pier more directly. Nice one. 👍

  Wow as a brit whos never been to Auss its amazing to see Melbourne but its not what i thought. If that was the UK it would be full of boarded up shops . Traffic quite busy but hardly any people and them trams seem super fast. Is this on the outskirts of town ? Love the vid id be into some of them bars ! Anyways love to all you Aussies keep them vids coming !!
