Our mission is to serve the community through offering high caliber art exhibits, supporting the development of artists, and providing educational programs to visitors of all ages. On this channel, we hope to share with you this love of art, education, and community.

Wow! Beautiful, fell upon this literally by accident. Evokes so much from sooo long ago. I recall a song about avocadoes in the subway, a lenin cap, an amazing mask with a rolling marble, and a very nice and talented American in Paris. :)

Hey Judy, I was lucky enough to have taken your Drawing class at CCAC in 1972 or 73. Needless to say you were unforgettable, dressed in black, striking black hair and intense eyes, coffee cup in tow. You took our class out to draw the freeways. We came back and critiqued. I've followed your work throughout the years as you love working with line. Nice video!

The other thing that should be mentioned is Ruth Asawa was not only a great artist she was also a prisoner of war and taken to internment camps when she was a young girl. A truly gifted artist and tireless advocate for children's art in schools.

I'm sorry, I just feel there is way too much clutter. In this case, you can't see the trees through the forest.
Clutter is good when it's beautiful clutter.
Lilith seems reluctant to be vulnerable and probably for good reason but you can see how vibrant her love is regardless.

Thanks. There were some great pieces in there. Though I am more into pictures, I was drawn to the sculptures and how they were displayed, as I am trying to learn how to display busts and sculptures.

Great video. Thank you for sharing. Side note: Lilith is not in the Bible, the figure is based on extra biblical narratives, tradition/myth of sorts. Not actually a "biblical" figure. Very fascinating collection none the less. Thanks again. Peace.

Wonderful to see a work of high artistic quality that also serves the practical purpose of providing stairwell security.
Two tremendously influential professors together in one interview. Chris is a beautiful human being. The work he puts into a painting goes so far beyond the canvas. Looking at his paintings is a kinetic visual experience. Knowing that the subjects in the paintings exist and were created by him is even more jaw dropping in the experience.
